I'm no bandwagonist Sir, I've been a Suns' fan for years and I also love this game. I can honestly say to you that this type of basketball by the Suns is beyond pathetic and I'm sure you feel the same. Coming into this season I was actually hoping that the Suns would be a Cinderella team this year but after these 2 games I already have no hope. Again I love the Phoenix Suns but it sucks to see this team struggling for the past 7 years and I think this season will be our worse.#Justbeinghonest

I do have to say, Ball looked good tonight. Everything (Besides his passing) is just so ugly, but somehow he makes it all work.

To be fair McD has been pretty supportive of him because he is ok with tanking. It's sad when we have to put faith in Sarver's impatience to hope Watson gets fired.

Cmon yall stop overreacting.

Warren is a really good player.

we were 26-38 fts just because its the end of the game doesn't mean he takes the L.

Jesus.

I don't really see many people blaming him for the loss, yea they are frustrated he missed those because he did, but this game is on the team and the coaching staff, changes will need to be made very soon.

Yeah, if he didn't get the offensive rebound in the first place like he is so good at, and put it back up, no one would be complaining. He could have just done nothing there and not put our team even in the position to potentially win a game.

Exactly great post.

I know and I was kidding and it's tough to watch, but I will watch in hopes our young guys grow. But I have a feeling this is the best our team is going to look most of the time. When we play real defenses with good coaching it is going to be ugly since we have no defense, and our offense is likely not going to be real consistent. I just hope to see our young guys grow. We do play the Kings, Knicks, and Brooklyn twice in our next 10 games, so maybe those will show us something, but those teams probably have better coaching.

Well against us he does. He couldn't do **** against Beverley. I mean look at the difference in his stat line. It's embarrassing..I'm not even going to check but I pretty much have a good idea.

Big difference going from the best guard defender in the NBA to whatever the hell defense Bledsoe/Chandler were playing

He had a nice dunk last year vs blazers to send the game to OT I think.

I know. I always felt Beverley was underrated and thought people might underestimate the Clips this year since the offense can run through Blake and they have two capable passers on the perimeter....besides Beverley being a great defender and capable passer, he is a good 3 pt shooter.

That's why I think Sarver/McD are doing themselves a disservice by being seemingly so supportive of Watson despite him showing zero improvement as a head coach. Agree about your last point...sad indeed

I don't get it, he says it like it's not reflective of his work? Sounds like something they would say on inside the nba on TNT. Way to take responsibility for how your team performed Watson :banghead:

Warren missed the first free throw. He did a good job of missing the second one on purpose to give us a chance at an offensive rebound.

Bledsoe is tough to put a finger on. What happened to the guy that was known as a really good defender? Bled was getting consistently burnt by a rookie point guard, leaving him wide open from 3 despite that being one of his strengths in college, and just looking like he picks and chooses moments to actually play defense. He's awesome to watch when he gets it going on offense like he did in the 4th quarter, but he was so frustrating before that. Even then, he was getting roasted by Lonzo right back.

Booker looked great distributing in the 1st half, but he got a bit rattled after that incident with Brewer and he didn't close out the game making good plays outside of that 3. I liked that he was contributing more than just points, and he was trying a little harder on defense, but we needed more from him in the 2nd half. Hopefully that big fall doesn't linger, it kinda seemed like it bothered him through the game.

Chriss has really good instincts as a shot blocker, but he has terrible decision making on when he should jump and he is rarely actually in an athletic stance on defense. Bender looked very good at times on defense, but he made a few dumb plays on offense and seems to be basically the last option on the floor in the mind of the team at times. Jackson has the defensive positioning pretty down, but he needs to get a lot stronger to help with keeping drivers from still getting through the paint. I think he got a bit cold on offense after he sat for so long when TJ was rolling in the second quarter. TJ played very well this game too, tough break on the last free throws but he got us in the position in the first and we missed a ton of free throws tonight.

Mike James was a nice spark plug, but I don't get why Watson kept him in for so long late in the game? We were already undersized and that just make it worse when he was in together with Bled. I hope this game was a sign for Watson that Jackson and Warren aren't as effective playing together, things completely turned around for TJ after JJ got subbed out. I also hate our pick and roll defensive scheme, and I hate the way that we don't respect any big man as a shooter. There's no harm in contesting, and Chandler isn't doing any rim protecting even when we have him sink down there anyways. I liked that play we ran for Book's 3 though, very well run. The call on that last play wasn't bad either, Chriss just didn't catch it well and went up too soft. I liked that we came back and competed, but our defense is terrible and it's not all on our players.

What's funny/sad is two of the biggest culprits of the suns horrendous d are bledsoe and chandler the vet defenders and supposed "leaders" of this team. Both can **** right off this team.

The amount of money this franchise is wasting on guys who give them little to nothing is staggering.

I really do not know why Mike traded him. I thought he was perfect in Houston. I also liked Dekker and Harrell. The Clips also picked up Gallo in Free agency. They could turn out to be the biggest winners this past off season.

I can actually root for the Clips now that Chris Paul is gone. Unfortunately he is in Houston and am a huge MDA fan.
