If that kid is a spoiled brat, you really hate his ass. That's all that post says. He's almost autistic. If you can interpret spoiled brat from his deadpan answers, you are seriously looking to find stuff to hate.

So now Lonzo is autistic? And I’d love you to try to prove that he’s not acting like a spoiled brat. He’s just quiet, but when he opens his mouth, he sounds like a douche. And don’t worry, Lakers fans like you definitely won’t make me stop hating him

Nooooo, I didn't say he WAS, kid. Learn to read. You're a hater by nature, that's the point.

Show some evidence where he sounds like a douche? He always gives the most boring canned answers. I have absolutely no idea what you are referring to.

Because most coaches don't give their rookies free reign from the get go, the Lakers have to because they have nothing else.

I could find it, but what’s the point? Like honestly, you believe that if showed you even something like Lonzo choking a puppy you’d change your tune? The entire goddamn year I already had to listen to countless Lakers fans defend Lavar, saying that what he’s doing for his kids is amazing, so you think I stand a chance to proving to you that Lonzo is spoiled?

They did have a choice though. That choice was D'Angelo Russell. Instead, he was traded. Giving Lonzo full control at point guard.

Zo seems like a good kid and a decent player...but what does it mean to be the youngest player with a stat line like this against a team like the suns that just got DESTROYED by Portland?

I wouldn’t over react to Beverly destroying Ball and I wouldn’t over react to Ball destroying the Suns. 82 games... 2 down...80 to go.

I wonder if those BBB shoes hurting his game tho. Look i know they JUST shoes...but there has to be something to the technology that goes into the athletic gear that Nike and Addidas make..right? You cant just roll up to a Chinese shoe manufacturer and say give me shoes that LOOK like this but not take any of the other specs into consideration or you see addidas players balling in some Yezzy 350 V2s...which you will never see...i hope.

Quiet or quieter kid than his dad. Humble? I dont know how you judge humility from a distance. Douche...I also dont get how people HATE him enough to call him Douche...damn all he has done is go to school and play ball. I mean he hasn’t even said or did one thing thats even close to objectionable....unless you consider a teenager rapping offensive.

The HATE is real...

How low does this bar have to be for Lonzo? He has a good game and people go crazy. He’s the 2nd pick in the draft...

In his second NBA game he was 1 assist short of becoming the youngest player to ever have a triple double in the NBA. That's a bit more than hitting a low bar. And of course this thread is the counter to the thread about his awful opening night game.

Also, this thread was started before the game was over, when he still had a chance to set history. It's not uncommon to start a thread to alert people that something historic could happen. It gives people a chance to turn it on and see it happen.

He played good, but the stat line is a misrepresentation.

1- He shot 27 times to get his 29 points.
2- The pace was very high (94 shots, 19TOs, 33FTs for the Lakers), so the stats are incredibly inflated compared to an average game. You are talking about around 130 possessions for each team!!!
3- The Suns played atrocious defense, giving easy baskets after easy baskets. Lonzo went 12/27, and most of those makes were completely uncontested, often because of bad rotations.

So good game, I see the potential, but it wasn't as impressive as a 29/11/9 stat line would suggest. The pace, the bad defense and the high usage rate (32.3) was the perfect situation.

I'm more impressed by Ingram finally showing something.

How many rookies have had the ball enough for 29 shots, 9 assists, 4 turnovers and many potential assists?

Misrepresentation?

Ball just took over the 2nd half and led the team to a damn win. Ball made 12 shots out of 27 which is good while dishing out 9 assists and 11 rebounds. Ball was the leader in all 3 categories for the Lakers. What more do you want to see from a 19 year old rookie in his 2nd game of his career on the road against Bledsoe?

Not Yo Ham Lakers!
