Not too worried about it because the schedule is so soft.

Go get Jameer Morey!

CP3 should take all the time he needs. And yes, this team should pursue Nelson. He'll be a great backup as well as a leader.

Rocket fans need to boo Chris Paul when he's announced at the game tomorrow.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

I thought that's the thing now for home crowds to boo their own team's players for having injuries.

Looks like Nelson wanted a bigger role, according to Woj. Signing with NOP

I don't blame jameer. If I were a guard id rather play with Boogie and AD than Harden and Paul.

Well he wouldn't see the floor when both are healthy, and I'm sure the Rockets were up front about that

Used their last two way deal on another point guard, Briante Weber, played for the Warriors and Hornets briefly last year and spent the preseason with the Lakers

I guess they need someone to play for the G-league because Jackson will be with the team longer
but Weber can't shoot 3
that doesn't make sense

I actually think they might send Jackson down soon and keep Weber for the 45 days a two way contract is allowed to be with the rockets, then waive him, so they can save Jackson's 45 days for later in the season (the clock for that starts today with the beginning of Vipers camp, hence the timing of this deal). Just a guess given the timing of this signing though.

Weber has some NBA experience and can just defend and let Gordon carry the second unit. A two way deal has absolutely no cap hit, so they probably went for the most NBA ready and experienced guy they could get on a two way instead of a minimum guy who isn't that much better

Surprised Zhou isn't going with them. Jackson will probably stay with the rockets until Weber has a few practices

Ryan Anderson and three first round picks for Eric Bledsoe?

Anderson owed 61.2 million over 3 years. Bledsoe 29.5 over 2 years.

Bledsoe and LeBron are good friends.

A starter & 3 (I did read three right, right?) for a backup guard?

But what if freeing up that extra $6m difference between Bledsoe and Anderson's salaries and his being a Rocket were to help get LeBron or Cousins to sign here? (Bledsoe played with Cousins at Kentucky). Would that be worth the picks?
