Didn't even realize Utah was on the second night of a back-to-back. We had a day off and were still getting beat like a dog.

aside from the obvious problems with our 'OK3' (russ too deferential, george and melo being ineffective creating offense), there are some perplexing lineup choices by donovan.

last year, we were -14pp100 with jerami grant at pf. grant + adams was -17pp100. he was downright terrible there. he's now not only playing pf exclusively, but also playing small ball center (with defensive sieve anthony instead of george) in an expanded role. these minutes are eating into andre roberson's minutes (14 minutes thru three quarters). to close 3Q we have grant-anthony-ferguson-abrines-felton, a lineup that cannot possibly defend, and will struggle offensively as well unless anthony is on fire.

we have plenty of evidence that these lineups don't work. but we're doing it anyway. roberson is our best defensive wing, but he is being marginalized the first two games for grant, abrines, and even ferguson.

Of course Neto makes that crap. Looks like a guy you pick 4th at the Y, and he's made two or three really difficult runners at the basket over a much taller defender.

Water is wet. He’s our biggest weakness.

Well, even with a much improved roster (on paper), our biggest flaw is still that Billy Donovan is our coach.

We should have left the bench in.

Anthony's advantage is supposed to be being quicker than 4's, but he's not

It's over. We blew our wad to cut it to seven. Jazz get their starters back in after the timeout, and immediately push it back out to 13.

On another note, how is Utah's starting lineup owning ours so badly? On paper, we're much more talented. I know games aren't played on paper and whatnot, but it makes no damn sense.

Russ should have had two turnovers on that possession.
