I am not mad about this game because we were playing against one of the better teams in the league on a back to back...so I expected a big lose.

There are some teams that are on another level...Warriors, Thunder, Rockets, Cavaliers and Clippers. We are gonna lose big time with all of them in a second night of a back to back.

What we need NOW is to regroup and win the next **** game against Sacto.

We need this one badly.

When did the Clippers join that upper tier of teams?

I put them along the lines of Utah/Portland/Washington/Miami. They wernt in that top tier with CP3, so i dont see how they are in it now.

We lost to a playoff team, not a top tier team.

And i cant lie, i want to see us lose against the Kings, along with another 4-5 games in a row. I think that will be the only chance we have to actually finally rid ourselves of Watson. Lose your first 8-10 games in a row.....they have to make a coaching change (Especially when we are getting blown out like Farrah Abraham's backside).

that couldn't be further from the truth. Blazers especially run really greats sets. Lakers less so but still, they're not playing pickup. the NBA in general is very good when it comes to basketball X's and O's.

Whether or not a team's plays are maximizing value, or correct for the team's personnel, or whether the players make the right decisions within the sets, that's a different story. That's down to coaching.

Well, probably they didn't have to run any sets to beat the Suns because I didn't see them. You can find the game at tvrex.net. Just show me a few great sets the Blazers run, which the Suns don't. All I see is a basic two man pick and roll while the other three players camp at the three point line. And I believe this is the case with most regular season games, the playoffs are another story.

Ugh, another +40 loss. I can't even make myself watch the game highlights.

I watched it on NBA.com and it was barely over a minute long. But in that short clip, you get to see Chriss play decent defense on Griffin who made some nice cross overs and then a step-back three. Chriss looked pretty defeated after that. Another play I saw Bledsoe get the ball stolen from him and then a 4 on 1 fastbreak occurred where only player back was Booker. Very, very embarrassing and to me it's telling that the players just don't give a ****.

I would - too bad that like 80% of these highlights are the opponents play, rightfully so. I can only get mad at the "defense" I see from Bledsoe and Chandler... :banghead:

Edit: youtube - "la clippers phoenix suns full game highlights 2017" in this case, but it works pretty much for every game. Videos are usually 9+ mins, which can give you a bit more insight to the game, than the NBA or ESPN highlights - those are usually less than 2 minutes.

The play at 5:35 kills me. What kind of effort is that? BLED NEEDS TO GO.

^^ I was about to point out a few of the same in the video, but then I figured... If they don't give a flying fk about the game, why would I give a fk about it on a message board? If you know basketball even just a little, you can see for yourself. :(

Agreed, the team was much more fun to watch the second half of last season without him running the offense. His lack of PG skills probably led to the Knight fiasco too.

1st PLAY of the game is a freakin' nonsense double team by Bledsoe.
Look at his effort after Griffin made the pass. JESUS CHRIST

They just dont know what to do.

No effort from Bledsoe or Chandler. This team lost a lot last year but they played with heart and effort and played hard. I had no problems with those losses. The effort from some of these guys this year is incredibly frustrating and inexcusable. Embarrassing.

I think that they have a better team than last year, way more deep.

They have lost Paul and Crawford but thay have added Beverley, Teodosic, Lou Williams, Gallinari, Harrell, Dekker....
Gallinari gives them the perfect fit next to Griffin and Jordan.

It seems to me like Watson has lost the team. You guys are too young to keep this going, you need to fire Watson and hire a staff that is serious about development and defensive accountability. And if Bledsoe/Chandler are setting a bad example for the locker-room they need to go as well.

I'd try to keep Dudley though and try to find another veteran leader just like him to set the tone for Booker, Jackson, Bender, and Chriss. Someone that brings it every night on defense like Tucker did.

They also lost Redick/Speights/Mbah a Moute/Felton as well. Your selling last years team short.

Yeah, I forgot about Redick, my bad.

But I consider this year's roster better than last year's roster, I really like the structure of their team.

***Conspiracy Alert***

Just watched the original "Major League" movie last night.
BTW, it holds up well and is worth a re-watch if it has been awhile for you. I Could not help but think that us losing is part of a plan to kill local support of the Phoenix Suns so Sarver and company can move the team to San Diego. If we turn our backs on the team there would be less fight to keep them here. I hear of the "timeline" but it does not make sense to me. Something is a miss. Losing is one thing but not having a system to develop these primadonnas is ignorant.

Perhaps the ownership and staff need to re-watch "Hoosiers" to see how you shape young players to play as a team and focus on fundamentals.
Just my $0.02 through movies.

Why fire Watson after 3 games then?

Well firing Watson is a start. Good Job.
