There's nothing Amare can do that Chriss can't skill-wise. He's not as strong as Amare but damn near as athletic.

Well that is just great. Proof that Chriss is upset over being moved to the bench and is pouting like a 3rd grader over it.

He needs to realize that the only reason why he started last year was because we had NO ONE ELSE and we were trying to loose games.

This is moment we trade Bledsoe for a big and let Booker run the point. Just like when GSW traded Ellis for Bogut and handed all their trust into Curry. Other players on this team like Chriss and Jackson will follow him.

I would be happy if Suns could just trade Bledsoe, Chandler and Knight for expiring contracts. I'm not sure if they even have neutral value combined. Knight is albatross, Chandler has negative value at his age. Bledsoe has value in theory but how many teams needs point guard? Especially one who can't shot, defend and make plays?

Our core should be in order: Booker, Jackson, Warren and Bender. Everyone else should be available for trade.
Chriss is a tall kid who can jump high. Will he ever become a basketball player? Maybe but it may require better coaching and team culture than this on the Suns. Ulis is limited by his size and isn't effective scorer. Backup pg is his ceiling. Len play good one game and is invisible in another. Maybe resigning him for cheap wouldn't be a bad decision but I wouldn't give him anything over 10 mil/year.

I think Booker is a pure 2...even in today's NBA.

The fact that he struggled so much last night with Corey Brewer trapping him (or "bump-N-run"ing him) the entire night makes me think he'd struggle as a 1.

I like the idea of trading for a BIG and I also like the idea of trading Bledsoe, but giving the distribution keys to Booker would be a mistake.

Doesn't even line up right. The bottom line isn't Chriss'...his must be worse, and then of course Bledsoe and Booker must be below that.

Bottom line is Warren's.

Yes, I know. Everyone moves down. But that means anyone not listed is even below that.

Come on! That graph is garbage for a few reasons:

1. Low sample size.
2. The Portland game peroid
3. Bender has played mostly with the 2nd unit and 3 unit against the teams other scrubs. The Portland game was already a scrimmage at that point.

His only real minutes with the 1st squad came in crunch time with the Lakers, and while he did do well, I questioned him being on the floor over Jackson.

Well the whole starting unit had like -30s in the first game, so you'd expect it. Warren was actually a net zero last night while most of the other starters were like -10 or so, which is why Warren is probably higher than the rest of the starters, though Chandler registered a +.

If we started our best +/- guys from last night, our starters would be:

James
Daniels
Warren
Bender
Chandler

Daniels only played 3 minutes though, and Booker has been doing a lot of other things other than scoring so far, so that would be an obvious replacement.

Of course you can't take too much from it due to the low sample size, but that shouldn't excuse the starters against Portland, who is hardly a great team, giving up after the first quarter basically.

Jackson's been pretty disappointing so far. The energy level looked good to start the first game, but in 55 minutes so far, he has 2 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 blocks, 1 steal. A bunch of rookies are putting up really good numbers.

Generally people play better when they play with better players, and I think that would probably hold true with Bender IF there was ball movement in our starting lineup. Booker has been a willing passer, but not Bledsoe.

Would love to trade Bledsoe for Murray/Faried. I would give up both Miami picks too. Then we can look forward to the 2018 draft and be set at every position with Murray/Booker/JJ/Bender/Bagley (Ayton).

Its hard because they dont want to give up Murray and rightfully so! I see a lot of Nugget fans on the trade board that say they would totally trade for Bledsoe, but wont give up Murray, who would end up being regulated to a bench role stuck behind Bledsoe. No way do they switch him to SG, as they just re-inked harris to that new huge deal.

But seriously, if we were to move Booker to the point, could you imagine having another super athletic guard next to him like Murray or even Lavine. That would be crazy. No defense, but damn that would be fun to watch!

I think that's why he put in both Miami picks. Heck, I'd even throw in our second rounders this year. We need talent, and not 5 more draft picks. Denver needs an upgrade at point, and some cheap talent to round out their (somewhat-overpriced-for-a-not-true-contender) roster in the future. I think they would look at this quite seriously - especially if their season starts a bit slower than anticipated.
