His play in 2 games has sucked, but he's still a top 35 player in the league and Jabari is going to try to get paid a max this offseason too, so I don't see how we give up a top 35 player for the right to pay somebody else a max.

Delly, Henson, etc. make 0 sense for Phoenix. Their contracts would be negatives for a team that is rebuilding. I like Brogdon but even then he is 24 already. That matters a ton when rating him against other 2nd year players.

We'd be lucky to get one of those three guys (Brogdon, Thon and Jabari), much less two of them. Bledsoe may be top 35 based on his past raw stats, but not based on making a team better, running a team, advanced #s, etc. Plus he is injury prone and has Rich Paul as an agent. If we hold out for too much for Bledsoe in this day and age when the league is flush with point guards, we'll end up stuck with him.

Booker and Bledsoe disagreeing at the back? You can tell, Booker likes handling the ball while Bledsoe just becomes a watcher at the perimeter.

He can't tell the difference between an x and an o and Bledsoe just publicly said he doesn't want to be hear. I think he lost it all.

Wow, I mean I think we all felt it was inevitable, but if you would have told me or likely anyone else here that he would be fired after three games (before the season started) no one would have believed it.

But the difference is that Irving plays and would have been out there playing, while Bledsoe has just been going through the motions and mailing it in. Do i think we would have lost by these crazy totals had we made a trade for Irving? Nope! I think they might have still been losses, but not 40-50 point losses due to out starting PG pretty much not caring, which is well evident when you watch him on the floor.

and again it wasn't just bledsoe, he part people balked at was Jackson which i still wouldn't do in retrospect

What the heck is going lol

Sarver doing this??? or McD.

All 3 games have been embarrassing if you think about it.
Losing by 48 points to a McCollum-less Blazers AT Home...
Losing to Lakers and allowing them to score 132...
Losing to Clippers by 42 and allowing them 130 points...

And not a sign of a decent offensive scheme and Defense for that matter.
So Watson blaming the program back against the Lakers, was Sarver pushing for uptempo against his wishes?... So much questions lol

But Watson is not the right coach to instill discipline to this group... he is a "big bro" to them and thats not good in developing a Basketball players.... sure he makes them feel nice and warm off court... but these guys are being paid millions to make an enticing product on the court and it has not been that way at all.

He's not, but I don't think anybody here was upset with an Irving for Bled trade straight up. The issue was Bledsoe, Jackson, Chriss, plus Miami picks for Irving that was insanity. And it was that because Irving simply isn't that much better than Bledsoe. That remains true.

Watson was a baby sitter. He was hired because Hornacek had 0 idea about how to manage a locker room. Hornacek also had bat **** crazy rotations, but with Watson the idea was the chemistry would get a lot better. It did for awhile, but then he came into this season and benched a youngster he spent all of last season building up and taking the ball out of the best player's hands (right now Bled is our best player though Booker is obviously our future). That tends to blow up chemistry. I mean he is playing a starting lineup that is out of position and also playing Len and Chandler together after establishing many times that it is a disaster. That won't be good for anyone.

Point being, if Watson isn't going to be good at babysitting, why have him as the coach? He literally is poor at every other aspect of being a head coach.

No way they do that. We won't be getting much back other than picks and unproven prospects like Murray or exum or something.

Best hope would be NY giving up Ntilikana or something.

I think Milwaukee would give up Brogdon before NY gave up Ntilikana. Brogdon got Rookie of the year in a weird season. His play isnt actually that good like ROY players in the past. Its kinda like when Michael Carter-Williams won it in 2013, or Tyreke Evans in 2009. I mean last year he was a 24 year old rookie averaging 10 points 4 assists and 3 rebounds, rather bleh numbers if you ask me, specially for a ROY winner.

But still we would have to take on someone like Henson just to make the money work in that deal.

Detroit/Denver/Orlando all are other options

Brogdon is much better than you make him out to be. I don't mind the age thing..we need some maturity and bbiq. Not only was he a good passer last season but he shot over 40% from 3 and averaged over a steal a game.

So far this year (I know small sample size) he is averaging 16, 3.7 ast, 2 steals, shooting 50% from 3 on high volume, a 57% eFG%. MCW was never a good shooter. Shooting is important these days.

I actually like a couple of the Clippers players, but not enough for Bledsoe by themselves unless we are talking bout far in the future unprotected firsts. I would love to somehow grab Evans, Brice Johnson, etc. as pieces of a deal though.

Bledsoe probably wants out because Watson has been fired. We can have problems with some players because seemed that they really liked Watson as a coach/person.
