Is this guy doing his Dr.Phil Jackson routine? What a great motivator!

Look at the date of the tweet.

What are they gonna do with 3 PGs? You really think they're in a position of leverage should they decide to move one of them?

They're going to play Beverly or Rivers at the 2. Easy problem to solve.

And even if they did want to move one of them why would they do it for a 2nd rounder? Sounds pretty dumb to me.

Beverly is worth a lot more than that. One of the best defenders in the NBA.

To cut unnecessary money. A common move.

So trade one of the best defenders in the NBA to cut easy money. Even though they made those moves knowing how much money each of them would cost?

Sounds pretty illogical to me.

I said Rivers or Beverly maybe actually read my posts before arguing with them?

The Suns are looking shockingly bad.

LOL yeah the fact that you would mention Beverly is crazy.

And even Austin Rivers who can play the 2 and is a good scorer off the bench isn't getting traded away for a 2nd rounder.

Your scenario makes no sense. That's all I'm saying.

Hypothetical: DeMarcus Cousins becomes available at the deadline on the cheap and we're above .500, does Marks make the move?

I'd imagine someone else will bid more because I don't see Marks parting with any young players of importance. If Toronto's 1st and Whitehead gets it done, sure, but that's unlikely. If he becomes available I think Cousins ends up on the Cavs. Lebron would keep him in line and he'd completely change the dynamic for them against GS.

If Cousins is on the market he's either going to Cleveland (which only happens if Bron commits) or Washington. They have far more to bid than Sean Marks would

Alvin Gentry is one of the most piss poor coaches I've ever witnessed in the NBA, how he still has a job is beyond me.

How do you possibly wait this long to call a timeout??????????

Cousins is an unrestricted free agent this summer, I don't see many teams giving up the farm for him if he's available.

Unless Washington offered Porter or New Orleans would take Love for him, what do those teams have to offer? And aside from that, what are other teams going to offer for him?

You've got Davis and Cousins and you don't get them the ball when the momentum is shifting?

even though both of those hauls are better than anything Marks would offer, to answer your question, the Nets 2018 first round pick is the first thing that comes to mind

I mean, just to be clear, I fully agree with you guys, we'd be outbid. Not by a lot, but yeah.

But was more wondering everyone's opinion on if Marks would make the play for him at all, how you would feel if he did and as talented as Cousins is, if he'd turn us into a perrenial playoff team or continue being the malcontent he has been?

Also in this hypothetical, does Cousins even re-sign? And if not, who has Max cap where he'd go instead?
