Thats horrible. Your pretty much pinning your hopes on a injured expiring contract. He has torn the same ACL TWICE in 3 years. If he comes back and is a shell of his former self, you just gave away Bledsoe and Chriss for **** Mirza and Henson (who they have spent years trying to trade)! Not to mention having to pay out the ass to Parker next year just to see if he can still play!

Seriously that is insane!

Henson for christs sake, they have been trying to trade him off since they gave him his new contract! That was instant regret!

Parker looked good after tearing his ACL for the first time, and it sounds like he is motivated and progressing extremely well after tearing it the 2nd time. We still have one of the best medical staffs in the NBA too. I think Parker is definitely worth the gamble of trading Chriss. Someone else mentioned it somewhere else but I don't want to deal with Chriss crying in the future. He constantly gives up on plays, he looks like lost sometimes, I catch him so often never being in a defensive stance or even just being focused. He throws his hands up in the air like a giant baby way too often and for him to be doing this at 19 doesn't bode well for his future. Whenever someone is in the post against Chriss I automatically think they are going to score or get fouled.

Trading Bledsoe is addition by subtraction since he wasn't making our players better anyway and he wants out. Mirza's contract isn't a big deal since he expires the same time as Chandler's contract anyway.

If the deal is that bad, then just substitute Monroe's contract for Mirza/Henson. I was basically trying to make a deal that Bdub would somewhat approve of, since he always leans heavily on the other teams perspective.

Just from visiting the 11 page Bledsoe thread on the Bucks Board:

Parker, Mirza, Delly, Henson, First

for

Bledsoe, Knight, Dudley

Salaries work. Knight's contract is bad but it frees us from paying Delly and Henson for three more years. Dudley would be a nice fit here.

I would do this just to bring back the Brandon Knight hate discussions. But seriously, that lineup could contend in the east:

Bledsoe/Brogdon
Middleton/Knight
Snell/Dudley/Wilson
Giannis/Thon
Thon/Monroe

Would the Suns want to extend Jabari?

Also who do we think has a better shot of being healthy and worth their contract in 2 years: Bledsoe or Jabari? It would be risky for the Bucks to bet on both Jabari and Bledsoe's knees but if Suki is that much of an asset maybe we run with it.

Basically I'm not sure how much the Suns would want Jabari.

Could definitely see them targeting Brogdon though.

Thats just from the 1st few pages. Give me time to read more, lol.

Jabari is a prime-time player regardless of his injury IMO and he's worth gambling on. This is the kind of move I would expect Ryan McD to make. He also has a history of trading with the Bucks for players before they become restricted free agents so there is that as well. Just Brandon Knight, but whatevs.

I could see a play being drawn up where Jabari is ISO'd on the perimeter and having Bender/Jackson in the corners and Booker floating the elbow three. We need a scorer of Parker's caliber.

That seems like a massive overpay going by Buck fans opinons on Parker

And thats how you end up trading 2x All-star IT for pennies on the dollar and regretting it later.

Thats how you end up regretting trading Dragic (who also asked for a trade) for 2 future 1st round picks.

Dont sell Bledsoe short. Irving was demanding a trade and how did that affect his return haul? it really didnt. Now like i said before Bledsoe isnt Irving level, but he is right up there. You have a handful of teams that would love to get their hands on him. Let the bidding begin, and make sure we bs the teams a bit and leak out "supposed offers" to get the others to step their offers up.

Clippers
Pistons
Bucks
Nuggets
Magic
Pelicans
Sixers

They all will have interest.

I dont regret the Dragic trade at all, but i take your point. I just cant see a team offering up too much for a guy like Bledsoe. I really think it will be something like Brogdon/filler/pick or Mudiay/filler/pick for Bled and Chandler or soemthing along those ines.

Someone remind me about Jabari Parker. Is he on his second big knee injury like Bledsoe has had 2? Was it ACL twice?

ACL in same knee twice in his rookie contract.

Yeah, you kind of have to stay away from that. Even if he comes back at some point this year there's not a lot of time to evaluate him & then you're in a real quandary about how much to pay the kid.

Okay, after looking at the Bucks board I would offer Bledsoe/Chandler/Chriss for Brogdon/Parker/Monroe. Even give up the 2018 1st. Brogdon would work very well with Booker IMO. And I wouldn't want to deal with fighting for minutes with Bender/Chriss/Parker. Trade Chriss, let Bender start at the 4 while Parker is out, Bender should get more comfortable playing and this should advance his player development. His defense is already good enough IMO that I'm not too worried about him starting.

Are you saying the Miami first or our own?
I'd do it with the Miami first but with how high our pick is going to be, we have to leave that one alone.

Embiid received an injury protection type of contract. I'm sure we can do the same for him. Parker has to understand how dangerous it would be for any team to give him a full guaranteed max.

If the suns believe Booker can play point, how about something centered around Bledsoe for Danny Green and roll out booker, green, Jackson, somebody, len.

Sorry, yeah of course the Miami pick. I think Parker would be looking at around 15-17mil. Sometimes these agents are crazy, 17mil is still a boatload of money.

Some of these trades in the main board are insane.
If we deal him to the Bucks, I highly doubt we do it without one of Parker or Brogdon coming back.

Someone thinks Denver can get him for Faried. Ummm no, try again.

Parker is probably too risky.

Will cost around $70m and is one knee injury away from being the worst contract in the NBA.

Not that anyone is questioning if EB might mean something else (with his tweet) and not that he wants to be traded.... but the fact he never took that tweet down, nor has he ever explained himself, makes it as clear as it can get that it means what everyone assumes it means.

I keep thinking of the Penny experience in Phoenix. A player with great talent, but injuries prevented him from ever displaying it all

Rich Paul and Eric Bledsoe know what they are doing.

They are distancing themselves from this mess so that when it's time to sign for $170m they aren't associated with being the PG in charge of failure.
