And of course, Ryan McDonough's dumb*** decided to still keep him instead of trading him while the Suns had the leverage and other teams didn't know about his private trade demand.

So now in retaliation, he's made his trade demand public and less teams need a PG since most teams got one in the summer too.

Have to assume that McD was hoping the Suns would end up looking fast and fun on the court and Bledsoe's trade wishes would have disappeared into thin air. Clearly that didn't happen and now once again a PG situation has blown up in our faces.

I was staunchly against trading Bledsoe or any of our young guys for a while, but now it's like...screw it. Trade Bledsoe, Chandler, Dudley, literally any player besides Booker, Jackson, or our 1st round pick next year.

I like Dragan. Put Dragan on that list, yo. Our price for TJ should also be quite high. No need to toss Chriss or Ulis on the pile, either. Or the MIA picks.

So, yeah my list is a lot longer than most, it seems!

Is Sam Amico ever right? I think he is wrong a lot.. But anyway, Cavs and Suns discussion - at least he says it could be whats being talked about

If Thomas is never going to be healthy - Isiah, Shumpert and the Nets pick for Bledsoe and the Heat Pick

I say no to Isiah Thomas. He never would have been an all star in the west, only in the weak eastern conference. Suns knew exactly what they had when they traded IT, and the Celtics knew exactly what they had and still traded him. He has allegedly said he wants a max deal on his next contract (he is an all star after all), and no way is he worth the max. I think he breaks down as soon as his next deal is signed.

I think this is right. I just don't want fans to be hating on Bledsoe when he's been such a professional here.

Awesome. Sit him until we can find a suitable trade. Good move, McD.

So Bledsoe asked for trade before the season started. His on court performance showed he didn't want to be here. Get him off the team. I'm pretty ticked at both his and Okur's unprofessional behavior. They were both given huge opportunities with big salaries to play and coach basketball. It's pretty simple that if you don't perform you get canned. It's a business. Put your big boy pants on and move on.

the reason I include Isiah is that he is an expiring contract this year so you are clearing cap -- Shumpert expires next year - same as Bledsoe

I am not re-signing him - I am getting that Nets pick to add to your core

I agree - don't need to sit him. He has been a professional that's for sure.

I am sure the trade winds are blowing pretty hot. Why not, season is young - Bled can help a lot of teams.

I think a deal is done by tomorrow -- I will listen to Gambo today

That's pretty crazy. I just hope we don't try to deal him for the sake of dealing him.
Seeing as the Nets no longer appear to be a bottom 3 team, maybe the Cavs do want to cash in before it loses more value.

I'd take that and help with cap relief for them by taking Shump or Frye (not sure what his contract looks like).

That said, I still can't see the Cavs giving up the pick for ANOTHER PG

Sounds like there is definitely a market for him which means good value. Maybe the tweet turned it into a bidding war and raised the stakes.

Calderon would come back to the Suns. The Suns would need a veteran presence on the court.

Shumpert, Calderon, Frye and Heat pick for Bledsoe and the Nets pick

IF - the Cavs don't think Isiah will be healthy. They are moving Wade to the bench. Which is where they need Rose.

I think Cleveland is do-able and that Nets pick might be in play

IF the Cavs want Chandler - who would the Suns take back, TT or JR - guessing TT

Return to Phoenix Suns
