damn I guess my feed is a few seconds behind! I got a text notification saying the suns won 117-115 but Daniels was still shooting the free throws! So I already knew they missed the last shot. spoiler :(

SUNS ON THE WAY TO THE NBA FINALS!!!!!! Well, at least it is a great starting point to build on.

I was gonna call for a forfeit, seriously, thinking this was just way too much to put on our young guys shoulders. Pleasant surprise.

Good short-term team lifter and hopefully relieves a bit of pressure for a few days.

In the grand scheme what happens off court matters more in the next 9 months.

That you, Eric?

It had nothing to do with luck and everything to do with screens, ball movement, and effort.

The players we have on our roster and their development is far, far more important than the draft lol.

Wow, a nail biter. I still don’t like the disrespect we get on our home court, tons of blown calls. I’m still shaking my head how George Hill didn’t get a tech for that body check on Jackson. If that was us, it would have been a flagrant two.

Still the turnovers were bad, but better rotations by Triano, so I loved the game, and the win was icing on the cake. I think we played much better without Bledsoe.

Every young player showed why we drafted them today. Bender's shot isn't where we need it yet, but he's already one of the best defenders on the team and has that to keep him on the court while he develop his offensive game. Quese hasn't nailed the fundamentals on defense yet, but he has a clear knack for disrupting shots and looks to be developing confidence on offense. JJ is proving doubters wrong with his shot so far and showing a lot more handle and smooth-ness on offense than I had expected, although his passing hasn't been where I expected yet.

Good first showing for Triano. Rotations weren't perfect, but they were definitely improved and impacted by fouling/level of play. Offense looked a lot more like moving the ball and less like iso, although there's always going to be iso scoring at times. A lot of turnovers were a result of trying to make a good pass to a cutter, so I can't be too mad at those even if I'd like them cut down. Defense was more disciplined and we would have held them to a decent point total if Temple didn't nail like 5 straight 3s. Jazz are always a tough matchup for us, but it'd be nice if we could follow this up with another good showing.

20 assists i'll take. 21 turnovers, yeah, not great, but young team that passed about 300 times more than any of the other games this season. For the increase in passes and extreme cut on ISO-ball, I'm not mad about it. Time for them to watch some film and see all the positive things they did compared to the first 3 games. I wouldn't even stress any of the negatives if I'm the coaching staff until next game.

On the real though, that was pretty impressive considering we went into this game with only a short discussion on what they wanted to work on in game. We didn't have time for any training sessions run by Triano so that just tells me our players are capable of so much more but Watson's 'system' was essentially holding them back.

Josh looks good. Getting to the rim at will, playmaking, and hitting shots which was supposed to be his weakness. Love his effort on D and his meanness... His handles are better than advertised. He is going to get a lot of hate from Laker fans....No mention of him on a list of about 7 rookies that were good from one poster. Lol!!

I don't understand the Chandler hate on here. He was really good tonight. You guys who are complaining that he sometimes lets drives through is because he has been told to not foul. That is what smart players do because they realize that for that one there are 4 or 5 other possessions he can affect. The guy is not done at all. I'm not sure where you guys are coming from on this. The guy had 5 oboards tonight... :banghead:
