I dont know anything about this dude but he sounds like a head coach. He seems like he has complete confidence and he at least has the demeanor that I've been looking for. So far, I approve.

That you, Eric?

It had nothing to do with luck and everything to do with screens, ball movement, and effort.

30 more seconds and the results could've been different. Defense is still missing.

Good game and this group needed that.

Booker played under control and didnt force it.

Chriss played probably his best game as a pro. He's had better numbers in other games but he did a lot of the little things better tonight.

James had a nice game. Guys like him who are desperate to stay in the league are so good to hsve on a rebuilding team.

Fox is good. Super fun player to watch.

Bogdan got cold but I still like his game. Been high on him even before the suns picked him so it was cool to finally see him in the nba.

I thought the D was pretty decent, the Kings and Temple in particular hit a lot of tough shots he doesnt have a career game hitting contested 3's and this is a 15 point win.

As I mentioned, a win is a win, Take it.

But still not sold on what I saw... in regards to a system. I can understand the offensive system taking a season to create... but the defense is still below par.

Jackson showed off his left handed dribble and attack to the rim and Booker got some open shots as result of better ball movement. Those are the things that will seperate us at a high level in the future. Chriss was probably the biggest turnaround this game looked free to use his spring and shot without overthinking.

Yeah of course; don't get me wrong.
I'm not ready to anoint this team.

There was luck. But without 47:55 of hard work and smart basketball, that last 5 seconds wouldn't have mattered. Even with the same amount of luck, the Suns of last week would have lost this game by 20. I think the main ingredient here was hard work and smart offense, with a small sprinkle of luck.

The defense looked fine. It was really good on several possessions. The effort was there. It was not elite. But I wouldn't call it missing. Few plays where they rotated great. They allowed a little too much penetration without good big help. but I thought they talked and moved and stayed in front of their dude for the most part.

I am willing to keep an open mind about Triano. Steve Nash thinks the world of him as a coach. That makes me want to take a good look.

We haven't even had a day of training under Triano. This is a nice start but it isn't "the system". We'll take what worked well today and keep using it and take what didn't work and improve on it. Defensively we looked more in sync and improved. Not where it needs to be but again we should improve if Triano is in any way competent.

Love Triano's quote about Jackson, as long as he gets the ball after the defense has been shifted around so he can attack any gaps or unbalanced defenders. No more dribbling at the top of the key ending with a contested jumper.

Wow, the General Board is salty about the Suns. Seems like everyone there goes out of their way to talk sh*t on them. Even Kings' fans.

Haters gonna hate.
We don't need other teams liking us, I actually find it really amusing.

1. Vince Carter, Bogdan Bogdanović and Georgios Papagiannis most likely hate me. I gave them a earful the entire game.

2. There were quite a bit of Kansas fans in the house tonight.

3. Suns win, finally.

Game Thread.

And Worst Team in the NBA thread. And just most threads in general. People not only have nothing good to say about the Suns, but just generally seem to hate them for some weird reason.
