The first quarter was proven to be the difference of the game.

Starting unit needs to figure out who they are because they cost the team a W tonight.

I reserve judgement but this teams future is looking awfully fuzzy for no good reason. I see very little of anything other than rotation shuffling at any given moment. We've still yet to see Fox and Buddy Hield play together much and they are arguably THE building blocks for the team. What's the direction here exactly?

Agreed. I’d rather start the game

Hill
Temple
Jackson
ZBo
WCS

And get more of Fox, Buddy, Bogi, Skal together. Then add WCS to that mix. Or even start Bogi and put Jackson on with the second unit

I ain't mad.

Another top-5 pick to this core would be great.

^ Yes. Lol, then after that no more picks so we have to figure this out. I’m not ready to call for the veterans’ heads, but George and Temple are the only ones who should get significant minutes. Z-Bo can have around 15-20 depending on if he’s looking and feeling fresh.

Yeah I was most impressed by his shooting abilities. He made a couple bad passes but he will adjust. I love this rookie class. The NBA is healthy.

Fox looks like a beast out there. He's going to be so good. I also like Bogdan and Skal. I really like what's shaping up with your team.

I appreciate how the team competed at the end and made it a winnable game. However, for the longest time, irregardless of the coaching or the players, the Kings have had a bad habit of only showing up for half of a game. Whether it's the first half of the second, we seem to have close games but it's the half where we were sleepwalking that kept us from the win. The next step for this team is to string together three or more consistent quarters of good basketball.

Other than that, we had only 9 turnovers! Taking care of the ball is 101 level fundamentals. If we can hang onto that, and continue to get stronger on defense, then I'd like to think a lot of other things will take care of themselves.

I think the starting unit knows who they are. It is just a bunch of pieces that do not compliment each other. I like the player but I think having George Hill is hurting our ability to run our best lineups. For example, move Randolph to the bench and start Skal. Assume Hill is not here or will play the bench, we start Fox. All of a sudden we have a fast, quick, and athletic starting 5 that will run. Then our bench can be KK, Randolph, Temple, the guard that doesnt get to start, and a Hill. I know it sucks to bench Hill, but this, in my mind, are our optimal lineups with our roster. Mixing and matching this age with youth is just an odd thing. I wish coach didn't have such an infatuation with some of these VETS.

I was very surprised. He put up good numbers and hustles hard. I don't like his stroke or style to much. Every time he went for a layup, I just thought how ugly it looked and it was good for us (the Kings), but then somehow it went in. He was ballin

I am in favor of still starting Hill, Hield, Jackson, Zbo, WCS but we need to use Hield as a spot up shooter rather than trying contested shoots all the time. So we need a better offensive scheme for this lineup.

It is still possible to give Fox and Bogdan 30 minutes each. Skal can still play 25+ minutes within different lineups, but I would like to see some different lineups rather than 1st unit-2nd unit thing. Just mix them up Joerger, that would be better than that.

ZBo at this stage of his career have to play backup center. But that means we have no PFs besides Scal, and even no relatively big wings to play with only one smallball.
