Get what together? He's four games into his career and injured. The yips hypothesis is absurd. Every aspect of his game is the same other than the one that would be affected by a shoulder injury.

Get whatever is going on with him together. He’s not taking any jumpers. He is shooting foul shots like he never shot a basketball before. He hasn’t even attempted a 3. I hope this guy isn’t mentally weak.

LloydFree wrote:Just shut him down. They energized the fan base enough with that ridiculous trade that they already sold the tickets. Embiid and Simmons are enough to keep everyone entertained. Shut him down for the year and keep the anticipation/myth of this 3rd superstar getting ready for next year.

Allowing everyone who never saw him play before see him this year, won't help anything.

So many Sixers fans who never watched Fultz play rejoiced after we traded up. They just heard on tv and radio and online he’s the best player in the draft. I know people say I hate on him. I really do hope he becomes great. I want to be so wrong on this kid. I’d gladly eat crow. I’m rooting for him. I really hope he gets out of this funk and does shoot well.

I thought that Fultz might sit, but I'm guessing he'll play more minutes than he has all season just to give concerned fans the middle finger.

I do wonder how Hinkie would have dealt with this situation. I obviously don't know the man, but I would assume he would have held him out in preseason (possibly after the exhibition game) after seeing his free throw to avoid the current PR mess. I know he'd rather say nothing than explain the whole situation in detail, but if he could avoid it all together, I think he would have done so.

Any word on whether he's expected to play tonight?

He's hurt. So obviously he'll play 19-20 minutes in an NBA game, to help get that shoulder better...

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

In all honesty, I'm not sure that Hinkie would have made the Fultz trade in the first place. I mean he COULD have if he valued Fultz highly, but my sense is that he would have argued that it wasn't worth the gamble considering the quality of player available at 3.

In terms of the medical situation of playing Fultz today I'm pretty sure that he would have held him out until he was 100%.

Yea, I'm talking from a pure situational standpoint of a blue chip recruit with a shoulder injury, not just Markelle. I think he would have recognized the optics of it before putting it out into the light.

BTW, we talked about Lillard earlier in this thread, but the dude went 3-16 last night (1-8 from 3). If there's one thing I hope Fultz is gaining out of this experience, it's to be exceptional at other aspects when his shot isn't going down. And to take it to the rim.

Nope. Derek seems serious about this policy per his newest tweets.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I love how it's almost become a annual ceremony where Colangelo comes out and takes questions about their incompetence. It warms my heart to see him in the fallout.

We now have confirmation that Fultz went rogue and pissed off the organization by inexplicably changing his shooting motion without their approval.

Can't remember the last time I seen a GM blame a player for his own injury. Interesting and by interesting I mean it's ****.

So, he throws the 19 year old kid under the bus for getting injured. What a buffoon.

Colangelo is the **** storm. I kinda love how bad he is at his job (in a comical way).
