Yeah you should edit that post. Team confirmed the shot.

Bryan Colangelo replaced Sam Hinkie because he was supposed to be better at handling relationships with agents and media. He’s done it before, but he just showed again what a failure he is at handling both.

Sixers medical team (with new leadership) must be pretty adamant to Colangelo that nothing's medically wrong with Fultz's shoulder.

If that's the case and my already shaky reputation handling injuries was being put on blast again, I'd push back too, if I was Colangelo.

How the hell would changing his shot hurt his shoulder to the point where he's gone to see specialists.

That comment doesn't even make sense to me.

Alright, lets make some predictions:

Does Fultz come back after 3 games and we see a normal free throw?
Does he come back after 3 games and we see a jacked up free throw?
Does he come back after more than 3 games and his shot is back to normal?

So he's pleading the fifth, while throwing Markelle under the bus saying he injured himself? Seems like something a liar would do.

what the hell is going on? This was not supposed to be happening this season. I don't even know what to say. I like Fultz, but to trade up with the Celtics no less for this is sickening to me. Id rather have those picks in my pocket (Lakers and Kings) for a better move. I don't even know what to say about all this. WTF

Simmons and Embiid should be the focus not this hocus pocus Markelly Fultz crap

Asked if HE asked Fultz if his shoulder hurt before the shot change in August, Colangelo indicated that time lapse between then and now makes the question somewhat unanswerable

Colangelo thinks this is how suave and competent GMs say "I don't remember."

We do? Since BC took over, when has he ever said anything that could be taken as confirmation on anything injury related? If anything, his track record suggests that BC is hiding something (or at least not sharing the details) even if he isn't in this instance.

I'm just tired of all this and simply want to see the same player Fultz was at Washington and as recently as July in the Summer League. If he fails, then he fails, but this hasn't been the same player, simply struggling to acclimate to the NBA, regardless of the underlying reason(s).

Not if we don't like the player. Since we don't like Fultz the organization is completely truthful on this matter and the rouge idiot kid changing his shot is to blame.

In other situations Colangelo is a snake with irregular sized collars but in this situation he cool.

So he did complain... and they still let him play.

Or he's trying to withhold some sensitive information.

Would you wanna hear that Fultz got hurt in a non-basketball incident that he tried to hide from the team until he showed up in training camp without being able to shoot?

Because if Fultz's shoulder is actually legitimately injured, that's what this entire situation reeks of.

Option D.

He doesn't come back in 3 games. We get some indefinite time table and we chugg along watching Embiid and Simmons play. Eventually Bayless stops shooting hot and T.J continues the headless chicken routine and we start to look around in January like "hey where is that other guy." we might need him. We get the season ending news and we continue about our business as usual.

Let him sit. Get him ready for 11/10 and 11/16 games. Cause you know.

I am starting to think the medical staff encouraged Fultz to play through the injury (soreness? We don't even know what this is) to avoid the stigma of having yet another top pick out with injury. Maybe they wanted to avoid speculation about a red shirt year or the questions about the competence of the medical staff.

IDK, they denied the injury but they had to have known. Everyone who watched Fultz could tell he didn't look right. I'm relieved it's an injured shoulder. Let him sit as long as it takes and he'll be the prospect we thought he was once he comes back.
