Always good when your franchise player is low key telling everyone the GM is a liar.

I really have no idea what Colangelo is getting at...

Eh, just let this play out. Hopefully in a week or two Fultz's shoulder will be fine. It doesn't seem like a career ending or season ending injury. People making a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be.

I'm encouraged that Fultz looks more athletic than he has been given credit for and it looks like he can get to the rim whenever he wants. He'll need to finish better at the rim or make passes, but he can get there.

People that have good jump shots just don't forget how to shoot. When he's healthy, the jump shot will return.

fultz has had this injury for more than a month now, and it hasn't healed up.

how is sitting out 3 games gonna magically make him shoot normally again?

I'd hope that they're planning to sit him until his old shot emerges. Be that 5 or 10 or 15 games... I don't care, come back when you're ready to score like UW Fultz...

Just listened to the Keith Wiliams interview... I'm a little surprised Brett Brown is saying without a doubt "Fultz changed his shot". Keith Williams was shocked by this. If there is anyone that is a snake in the grass it's Bryan Colangelo. I'm shocked Brown would lie like this. Is Scott O'Neil or BC pressuring? I feel that Brown is a stand-up guy, so it's a little disappointing that he actually did...

Lost in the mix of this thing is that we are a worse team without him, in my opinion. He was getting guys open looks, drawing fouls, and playing stout defense with his length.

If he gets healthy and plays somewhat like he did before he's a perfect compliment to Simmons and Joel

I heard one sentence of that interview, and haven't heard the whole thing, but isn't the argument really whether or not he changed his form before or after the pain started?

I thought that Fultz's camp acknowledged the change in form, but said that he did it after the injury. I mean the fact that he changed his form is undeniable because he HAS changed his form.

Whatever the case may be he needs to get away from basketball for a little bit and clear his head, I’m not saying his shoulder isn’t hurt but part of this is in his head.

Here’s a timeline; on October 2, BB tells reporters that Fultz changed his form all by himself over the summer.

This organization is an abomination. What BC has done with this Fultz situation is pathetic. He was supposed to be good with optics. How dumb can a GM be to let this Fultz shoulder injury/non injury thing go without saying anything? Then Fultz's agent breaks the news so that forced BC to come out. BC should have come out before and said something about Fultz. F'n ridiculous he can't explain what happened to Fultz. Whether he is really hurt or not is whatever but BC should have come out and said SOMETHING about this situation because OUR NUMBER ONE PICK HASN'T SHOT A 3 POINTER YET! We need answers on why he isn't taking jump shots. And he doesn't have to throw him under the bus. You can explain it in a way to give the fans an adequate answer or reasoning.

I'm taking myself away from this situation now because I will clearly not get the correct answer. All I care about is whenever Fultz gets back into the game, his shot looks like it did at UW. If it doesn't, I'll be pissed. If it takes longer than a month, I'll know that Fultz tried to rebuild his form, and I'll be pissed. That's the long and short of where we currently stand with this ridiculous issue.

Interesting video. The summer league jump shot actually looked really good compared to the UW shot, in my opinion. It's comforting to know that he's changed it so much over the years that I'm confident he can get it back to good place again.

It doesn’t matter whether anyone liked the pick or not, this isn’t like drafting an injured Embiid and thinking he’s going to have a healthy career, or drafting 3 centers in a row and not knowing that someone was going to be devalued, those are kinda obvious.

This mess with Fultz, Nostradamus didn’t see coming, it’s one thing to not like a guy cause of his shot or defense or energy, it’s another thing way out there that a number 1 pick would change his shot, in the summer he was drafted, or that he changed it because of an injury and then to cover it up, and not acknowledge there is an issue.

Then again it is the group that wouldn’t give a straight answer about Bynum, then Embiids re break, or not healing, Jahs 12 month recovery from an 8 week surgery, Embiids knee injury lies, Jrues stress fracture lies, and a multi year tank where you ruin the value of two lottery picks by taking 3 guys that all play the same position, plus get a player that wastes two years in Europe and is useless unless his shot is falling, and when he does come over you start another un athletic guy from Europe who is also useless unless his shot falls as well.

Who knows, maybe the miracle is Fultz isn’t out for the year,....... Yet.

It's amazing that after all of yesterday's interviews there's still no clarity on the situation. The silliness in which this has been handled is simply mind blowing.

The combined efforts of our medical staff and our executives have made us such a clown show of an organization.

as someone who has never been to philly.. and is only a loyal sixers fan because as a young boy I fell in love with Iverson, this organization is making it REALLY hard for me to stay a fan...

and this is coming from a life long Purdue and Jacksonville Jaguars fan... so losing is nothing new for me, in fact, its all I know... I was born in it, molded by it

tell me about it.. I havent been upset at all these last 4 years as a sixer fan because I knew they would be awful.. This year though I bought into the hype and thought in such an awful east we could easily make the playoffs as a 8 seed or better if things went well...

but now our number 1 pick is hurt in many different ways, we refuse to run the most important and dominant NBA offense (PnR) and we have found a way to lose 3 close games already... So it hurts

I guess I have to try to find a way to remove all of those hopes and expectations and go back to expecting losses, at least for this first month or so of the season, but we might dig such a deep hole that we cant get out.

It's even worse that teams like the Magic and Pistons and Nets are winning while we are giving away wins

Someone on our Celtics board posted this ...

Was Fultz hiding a shoulder injury prior to the draft already? Makes sense because it sounds like he shot terribly in the workouts for Boston and Philly.
