Good game, friend. Injuries are a bear for both of us right now and October games might as well not count, so don't let this one get you down. Y'all get healthy and we'll do the same, and we'll see you guys again in December!

The man embodies ‘love of the game’ as much as anyone I’ve ever seen; you know every inch of his body has to hurt like hell after every game, but he just wants to keep playing.

We seem a lot different so far than last year, even without Kawhi, but so far and I know the sample size is tiny, we are a lot better

Kyle Anderson has been playing great... never thought I'd say that.

Dejounte has grown leaps and bounds, defensively he's really good. Just needs to work on that jumper a bit more but that will come .

LMA, even Gasol.. everyone has been quite good,

Only downside for me so far is the lack of Bertans..

Solid win against a well rounded team that created a lot of mismatches for us. Definitely our best performance on the offensive end so far this season but I wasn't all too happy about some of the terrible mistakes we made defensively.

Things I liked:

LMA - Another amazing game from him and definitely his best offensive performance in a while. His whole arsenal was on display last night. He was getting it done with the jumper, drawing contact, backing dudes down, attacked the glass, worked the high low and he used a couple sweet spin moves to get himself wide open in the paint.

Gay - Was huge for us in the 2nd half, him and Manu really took control of this one in the 3rd. 6 of 8 from the floor and 9 or 11 from the line. This is exactly what we need from him keep it up!

Manu - Was under control and like Rudy gave us some buckets when we were hurting. Those two long ass three's were classic Manu.

Slo-Mo - Awesome game from him. Once again I still have no clue how he gets to the rim but he did it effectively once again last night. Really starting to look like the player I know he can be.

Danny - I'm not freaking out as much as I used too when he puts the ball on the floor (it's going to take a while to break that habit) but he did a great job on both ends last night. Hit some key 3's and made a couple nice drives to the rim.

Paul - Another solid showing for him. Didn't do too much, hit a couple open 3's the ball didn't stick to him and I think he did an excellent job on the defensive end. Looks like he belongs out there.

Things I didn't like:

Our defense - For the most part we were solid but we really got lost on switches a little too often for my taste, also gave up way too many easy ones at the rim.

Careless Turnovers - Weren't a big issue but they happened and some of them were just flat out lazy (I'm looking at you Pau and Danny).

Pau - I know he started slow last year too and he was fairly decent in this one. But he should of feasted on this weak Heat front line like LMA did. I also don't like how a guy as big and long as he is keeps getting his shot blocked at the rim, he has zero lift right now.

Kelly Olynyk - I know he doesn't even play for us and I know he isn't exactly known for his defense but damn was he awful last night. We got at least half a dozen wide open looks in the paint because of him, a couple times it seemed like he just forgot that he was fronting someone and let them roll directly to the rim.

Also another couple notes I really like the Rudy at center lineup we rolled out for a few minutes in the 4th (it could of been late in the 3rd? actually). It worked really well and it's something Pop's should keep tinkering with.

Kinda disappointed we didn't see Bertans get some burn in this one. Could of used his spacing and ability to switch.
