Did you see Green Room? Could see you liking it.

I think I would have liked it better if there wasn't an avalanche of hype behind it. It was fine.

Can we talk Walking Dead?

Spoiler:
1. Not sure if anyone else caught it, but the scene where Carl is off looking for gas at the beginning, it is an exact recreation of the opening scene of the series where Rick sees/shoots the little girl zombie. They parked at the same exact accident, went to the same gas station, looked in the same car window, and knelt/looked under the same car. I wouldn't have known it except I happened to catch the beginning of the 1st episode this morning. Not sure what it's intended to show. They've been through so much, but haven't gone anywhere? Passing of the torch from Rick to Carl? Kind of cool though.

2. There are what, 70? people with guns pointed at Negan and his lieutenants and they decide to hold a conversation rather than just shooting them? What? Also, Negan just walked out of the door into 70 guns pointed at him assuming no one would shoot? How stupid has this show gotten?

3. I can't stand how the zombies are just used as a convenience to further a plot agenda at this point. Attacking a compound? Wait an hour and you'll certainly come across a herd of thousands of them that you can guide to said compound.

IDK, I'm too invested to stop watching now but I think the show has kind of jumped the shark here a bit.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Spoiler:
1) Cool. I didn't even think about that. Now I wanna go back and watch that first episode.

2) That irritated the hell out of me as well. This show has gotten so dumb. Do they not think these things out? All Rick wants to do is kill Negan. Well, Negan walks out in the open, no weapons, and Rick and Co. don't unload on him? Instead he gives the others a chance to surrender...what??

So much careless thinking going on with those making this show.

I also loved how Daryl was driving his bike shooting those explosives, and these slow as molasses walker somehow keep up with him.

It's just gotten so silly. What a letdown for the season opener. I'm like you, I'm ready to give up on this thing, but I've got to much time invested.

Anybody watch 'This Is Us'? My lady got me watching it. I think it's absolutely amazing. You have to watch it from episode 1, tho.

Haven't watched the new season yet but will soon. It's very very good. The acting and writing is top notch.

Erik Oleson is running the 3rd season of Daredevil. Pretty good choice since he wrote and produced The Man in the High Castle and produced 23 episodes of Arrow.

Just my opinion.... most of the audience seemed to really like it though

Maybe 'average' was a little harsh, I'd put it on par with the 2nd Guardians of the galaxy movie

My wife makes me watch it, I always sneak a glass of whiskey to make it tolerable.

The first season had really good pacing, which drew in viewers because there was always new character development based on how the multiple timelines impacted each other. I perceived that would be difficult to sustain, and so far this year has completely lacked that. Also, Kate and Toby are difficult for me to find any degree of interest in, Kate because she is so awful to everyone and Toby because of how obnoxious he is.

The season 1 storyline with Randall meeting, connecting, mourning his birth father was really beautifully done.

Jack Pearson belongs in the TV dad hall of fame.

Did everyone punt on Mr Robot? I think the new season is fantastic and has gotten better each of the first three eps.

Ironically, last night's episode tied up a ton of loose ends from S2.

Haven't seen the latest episode, but the second episode of Mr. Robot gave me hope for this season. I'm still in on it.

I can speak to later seasons, but I bailed on Orphan Black halfway through S2. Felt like it was rapidly descending into self-parody.

I did punt, thanks for the tip, I'll give it another shot. I wanted to like it but the second season lost me a number of times.

Just watched all of Broad City and I'm not sure how I hadn't seen it before. Great show.

I've kept up with Orphan Black just for Tatiana Maslany's performance. The amount of the work she does on that show is just staggering, I can't imagine another lead actor/actress playing so many different characters every single episode. I don't know how she does it.
