Why don't you keep trolling for kanter, who's not even on the team anymore? The reason I keep bringing up Roberson is 1)you guys claim he's a game changer defensively - opposing wings go off all the time 2) the starters, of which he's a part of, played well defensively. It skews the numbers. It's comical you guys think othewise. I'm aware of the long term results, I don't think the stats are valid, which I've been over. Now there is talent challenging him for minutes. Let's keep watching
I never brought up Kanter. When idiotic comments are made I think people should have their feet held to the fire. Your buddy wants to dodge the repercussions of making false and inaccurate statements.
You saying that you don’t think the stats are valid makes you look like you don’t understand them. Especially when you want to take brief segments of games to make conclusive statements.
I'm just making an effort to point it out to you guys game by game now....so you can see it. The other way wasn't working.

Melo was really good. When he is in the zone, he can pour 30 points without hard effort.
OK3 will get better with time.

i've never seen people who self-promote their eye test and basketball watching acumen fail so hard at watching and evaluating defensive impact.

Indiana scored 32 points over that 16 plus minutes stretch. Despite his excellent rotating, the statement that the defense is miles better with him is simply not true. They didn't miss a beat without him in the second half.

You're now claiming he's not a game changer defensively? Why does he make every lineup he's in better defensively?
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Even in a game like this where Roberson gets absolutely destroyed defensively these guys are still sticking to their guns. It's hilarious. Oladipo did whatever he wanted against Roberson and blew by him repeatedly like he wasn't even there when he was guarding him. Same thing Harden did in the playoffs yet all of these Roberson supporters are still trying to act like he's some elite defender. They just don't get it. Any remotely competent wing defender would get the same results that Roberson is getting against the better players in the NBA. Oh and Roberson is now 1-11 on 3 pointers this year if you count the preseason and he's made 3 of his last 23 free throws if you count the Houston playoff series. Yeah, let me tell you, they really need Roberson out there. It's like talking to a brick wall with these guys.
They were about 20 points per 100 better with him on the court...
Dude...did you even watch the game? He got smoked by Oladipo over and over. The only reason he even scored a point is because Russ set him up for two points with a layup and he luckily got a breakaway layup. Do you not understand that the only reason the team was "better with him on the court" BECAUSE HE'S IN THE GAME WITH THE STARTERS! Why would you even come out and say that? It's a completely meaningless stat. A D-league player could have been in the game with the starters and that player would have been "better with him on the court". Once again, as I've said many times on here, Roberson does NOTHING to slow the the elite players and really good scorers in the NBA and they routinely have excellent games against him and since he's not making that defensive impact he must be removed from the starting lineup and have his minutes reduced dramatically because now he has the shooting yips.

It is not a 1 on 1 game. Other players played with the starters as well and the defense fell off a cliff. PG hardly played and Adams wasnt on court all the time either. Neither of Melo or Russ are good defensively. I am amazed at this and think byou either don't watch yourself or are willfully ignoring information which is easy to gather and right in front of you.
I suggest in the future you use the information to gather a reasonable opinion instead of the usual arm waving and diatractions and yelling. To be entirely honest it doesn't give credibility to your opinion here when we all have this information.

Loving what I saw from Adams this game. I feel he showed how much better you can be with a higher bball iq. He used all the tricks of the trade to completely outplay Sabonis.
Good to see Josh play well in extended minutes. He did not look out of place out there and I love seeing him hit a kick out three when given the opportunity.
Melo did Melo things. Love watching him heat up from midrange. Makes him seem so much more dangerous and gives so much space for Russ and Adams pnr.
Russ a lil messy this game to be honest. Sometimes I feel he needs to be more patient on offense. Seemed to be forcing stuff early in the shot clock.
This was the Victor I thought we were getting last year. Good to see him play so well.

That’s debatable, lol.

The thing about Huestis, he'll get so much more leeway with the fanbase almost solely on how his jumper looks than Roberson does. Even if it doesn't end up going in all that often.
your takes on huestis make me chuckle considering how vociferous you were regarding this pick when it was made. i don't mean this as a criticism it's just amusing thinking back.
Hey I get it, I was very vocal that it was a ridiculous idea at the time and I stand by that. At the time it was stupid. And today this is the sort of prospect that probably gets a 2 way contract instead of a first round guarantee. But we're several years removed at this point. The guy may have actually developed into something. Early results look promising. I'm glad he's getting a chance. Hopefully he continues to improve.
