How are we going to use $12m wisely anyway if we traded Chandler?
Keep him to babysit Booker's extension so the FO can't stuff it up.

I am guessing if the Suns remove 12m from the cap next year as Chandler is traded for like Monroe - the Suns can sign a guy to a one year deal for like 15m (Reddick got 23m from the Sixers, good payout, no long term cap for the Sixers) . This would make one person happy getting a lot of money and the Suns still keep Cap for 2019.
If Sarver lets Ryan run the cap - I am not concerned

Tyson is looking energized. I think he likes Triano. He's a pro. He knows a bad coach or a good coach when he sees one.
Oh I think he's definitely a pro. But his recent uptick in effort could be he knows he needs to look decent for some team to trade for him. The Watson thing is real they have been friends since they were teenagers.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

He played with Kidd in Dallas for sure and possibly with the Knicks. Maybe that would be the fit to move both Bled and Tyson. Kidd can hire Earl for something

My guess a hold up if a Bucks deal is being discussed is the Bucks want to move Henson and I would think the Suns want Teletovic since one year less on his deal (expires in 2019).

Monroe is the best filler $17m expiring.

I do not want to trade Chandler NOW.
Probably at the deadline I would trade him if we are on another losing season (very likely), but for now I want to compete and he is playing really good under Triano.
We need some veteran on the team.
Dudley and Chandler are needed here, I would trade them only for a really good player, not just for cap space/picks... we have enough of that.

I sat behind the bench for the Kings game. I was impressed with Tyson. He brought energy to the huddle and helped coach during timeouts. If he is mad about the Watson firing, he sure is not showing it.
During the game he was attacking the boards like a monster. You could hear him yell as he went after boards louder then anyone else on the floor.
The other guys leading were Dudley (he was always talking and even grabbed the clipboard at one point) and Booker (amazing how mature he is for 20).
I really like our chemistry right now and I'd hate to upset that unless adding Chandler gets us a better return or a young stretch 5 to replace him with.
Yeah, Tyson Chandler was proving to other teams that he can still play and maybe even lead so he could be traded.

I think this makes sense. It's what I would do. Keep making Bender have to push for those minutes. Plus even a vet like Jared should want to actually *play* occasionally.

This is looking like the way to go.
Phx out: Bledsoe/Chandler/2nd
Mil out: Brogdon/Monroe/Tele
The 2nd is whatever, we have enough of them. If Milwaukee wants to include Henson instead of Monroe, they'd have to include some picks cause that contract is awful. I just don't see a Milwaukee deal where Brogdon isn't included happening.

I'd like that. Dudley can come in and hopefully give us 20-25 good mins. Bender and Len on that 2nd unit is awesome rim protection.

This (or something rather like it) is what I would do instead. Would like to exchange a second for a first in the deal, too, if we can.

I am not surprised Cleveland is not an option if true. I still think Bucks, Nuggets seem most likely - if, IF a deal happens.

This makes sense to me but word is that Milwaukee is unwilling under any circumstances to part with Brogdon. So, that's it there.
