Going with Fournier, but great case to be made for Jonathan Simmons too.

Everyone was positive today just like we've fortunately been able to say a couple of times this year. Gotta give it to Fournier for his all around game, but it was really hard not to vote for Simmons vs Spurs.

Yeah the entire team made this win possible. But if I had to guess who was the engine in the locker room, I'd say Simmons.

I would have voted for the person who told Vogel how to disrupt San Antonio's rhythm.

Fournier I guess, but Simmons a close runner up. Iwundu's dance is pretty great.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I voted for Fournier, though I could buy an argument for almost anyone that played significant minutes in this one. This was a team effort tonight. Fournier had some really ugly turnovers in the first half when he tried to force things, but he hit the shots he took.

Augustin also had a really nice game; much better than his stat line would indicate. He actually made some plays at the defensive end and fought hard when he was in some tough situations.

This is a great win, but we really benefited from an awful shooting night from SA. I got nervous early when SA kept forcing switches that resulted in Fournier or Augustin matched up against Aldridge, but SA committed a lot of sloppy turnovers. Vogel rode the second unit deep into the second quarter and they rewarded him for doing so.

I liked how Vogel brought Isaac back into the game for the last defensive possession of the first half. I knew that a defensive-minded coach like Vogel would find minutes for Isaac this year once he got a look at what he brings to the defensive end of the floor. His drive and spin move into a layoff for Biyombo was tantalizing (someone should gif that for those that didn't get to see it). The two threes he missed were dead on, but one was a hair short while the other was a hair long. If his numbers were a bit more robust, I might've voted for him tonight.

Gotta go with Simmons. It was his hustle, defense, leadership, and getting into the paint that got us the win. The unit with him Ross and biz basically kept the spurs from having a chance at a come back. There's some nice individual growth and the system finally fits the players, but I think juice is the driving force -- guy straight competes and makes his teammates better, if only to keep them looking over there shoulder holding onto starting spots

David Steele did the math live on air tonight...

 I caught that too. What confuses me though is Steele and Turner did nothing but sing Green's praises last season.

They were in denial just like all the teams that have ever traded for him or paid him more than the minimum.

Voted for Evan tonight. Shot the ball very well and was just good all around. I love how consistently good Evan has been so far this season. Everything about his game has improved.

Honorable mention to my guy Juice Simmons. I pinch myself every time when I see him wearing our jersey to make sure I'm not dreaming. He is having an even better impact than even I would have imagined. When he came into the game, he took the fight directly to the Spurs and the team followed suit.

I'm sure it is a provision in Jeff Green's contract to complement him no matter what because the Cavs broadcast team does the exact same thing lol. I am so thrilled that he no longer plays for the Magic.
