He starts before Sessions now.

Start Frank, Baker to back him up, and I guess Jack as the 3rd stringer.

There will be games where Frank is frustrated and we'll need a steady, calm hand at the point to steady the team while Frank waits for his rookie blahs to leave. Also to discuss how to play other guards. Sessions can have a role mentoring in the G league for all I care.

he only averaged about 5 pts a game in france, and shooting is what the scouting reports noted he needed to improve coming in. we will see, hes young. has time, and the team with the time. we will see if it translates.

Yep. Frank Baker should be our PG rotation for the rest of the year imo.

EVERYBODY - Honestly, if we had MELO, don't you think we would have slowed it down in the 4th and the Nets would have slowly crept back in to the game, maybe winning on a last second jumper? I always *hated* the last 8 minutes. Melo dominated and destroyed our offense. Well guess what - team basketball is baaaaack!

Frank played well in what for all intents and purposes was his season debut and I think quieted some of the doubters on whether or not he can play PG.

Dougie looked good offensively and he's a guy I'd like to be more involved in our offense moving forward. I don't think anyone is expecting him to be a long term starter but if we can get him going, I think he has potential to be a rotation guy for us past this year.

Timmy still struggled some but he hit some shots in the 2nd half (3-6 in the 2nd half after starting 1-6) so hopefully he can carry that over and get going. Plus he actually played hard on defense today which I liked.

Willy finally got some minutes and while he didn't look amazing, he was active. If he would've hit his free throws a 8-4 night in limit minutes would've been pretty solid.

All in all I'll take a win when it comes from the young guys. Plus this is good win for the guys morale, I'm all in on the draft but you can't go 0-82.

Great post. Glad to see someone show MCD some love. Played really well tonight.

Not if we had Westbrook. Or even latter day Billups or Kidd.

But we don't. So best case for everyone.

He shot high % from the 3 and scouts felt he had a good stroke. The biggest complaints were his lack of explosiveness and finishing in traffic

Frank looked good tonight. I’d like to see him try to take the ball to the rim more instead of pulling up looking to pass. All of our centers looked great tonight. We have too many of them someone needs to be traded. KP was absolutely dominant pretty much posted and toasted the Nets all night. Mcdermott also looks like he might be a part of the core. Moves well without the ball played good defense and hit his shots. He’s not a starter but I wouldn’t hate keeping him around either. Jack>session I don’t want sessions around Frank anymore

watching his team drop to 2-3 on a missed shot at the buzzer made the night that much more enjoyable tbh

His shooting release looks a little odd at times and that’s the main reason he isn’t a consistent shooter from long range yet

Such a weight off our backs. Just enjoying the lightness of being. It's a great feeling - get into it!

Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.
