Fournier had the more gaudy stat line, but Simmons completely changed the game with his hustle and energy.

For me it is "Wing defense", which basically means Simmons and Fournier only. As Fournier also contributed on offense, he got my vote.
(Wing starters Green, Anderson, and Murray combined for 4-18 shooting).

Yeah the entire team made this win possible. But if I had to guess who was the engine in the locker room, I'd say Simmons.
David Steele did the math live on air tonight...
Pity them Cavs fans...

Agree completely, but two things I would add:
1) Ross also played very good defense even though he continues to miss shots.
2) In addition to guarding the Spurs wing players well, Fournier also accepted the challenge of getting switched onto LMA virtually every trip, and Frenchie played it hard and smart. He obviously didn't shut LMA down, but Fournier's aggressive fronting without fouling helped deny entry passes and force some turnovers.

maybe Vogel is still a good coach, just learning his new players last year
No, that was a response to what he said in his interview. He said an assistant coach told him how to disrupt the Spurs rhythm.
