Tatum is a good scorer, this is no secret. Other guys in the draft were better fits for the Sixers though.

It reminds me of arguments I got in here on marcus smart. He's shooting .282 on 13 shots per game but he's a winner.

How can you argue with that? All I can say I'm glad we have Simmons eventhough he's a loser.

Is there a team more terrifying than the Pels when they play like they did tonight?

Ball looks like straight up trash at this point in his career. On the same path as fellow no. 2 pick Ingram. Should we be blaming the player or the development team?

U know how there's got to be a bust out of the first two picks? Looks like its not gonna be coming from us this year.

I didn’t see much of Ball today. I tuned in after the Sixers game. He didn’t stand out to me. He wasn’t that impressive.

The Cavs are done. They aren’t making the Finals.

Look there is a difference between being a good scorer and a great one. So yeah I expect Tatum to score. I didn't expect him to score as much and efficiently as he has.

And like the message I was trying to get a cross good scorers can get hot and fool you into thinking they are great scorers. I mean is Evan Fournier going to be a great scorer moving forward?

I feel like we say this every year.

The Pels have an absolutely terrifying front court. Unguardable by anyone when it's rolling.

Well, it's easy to label someone something that is totally subjective and up to interpretation.

I can say random players are bodacious and how would one argue with it?

I blame whomever hired Magic Johnson and came up with the idea of selling Laker fans on Lebron. Aint no way he's showing up to the Lakers they are trash and have nothing. Nothing. Hell they don't even own their pick next year.

we're 5 games into the season and fultz is sitting out with a shoulder injury. so now that lonzo looks like ass cheeks, you're hopping on the tatum bandwagon, and then when tatum levels and looks like a rookie, and dsj or josh jackson starts playing better, you'll hop on their wagon, so on and so forth. do me a favor and never root for fultz, especially when he plays up to his #1 draft status. smfh

I’m not on the Tatum bandwagon. I didn’t think he would be THIS good THIS early but I did like him a lot. And I don’t want to see him do well because he’s a Celtic but I call it like I see it. I’m trying to be unbiased. He’s a stud. And I am rooting for Fultz. Me being critical of him doesn’t mean I’m not rooting for him. I say Embiid has played dumb this year and is out of control. I’m still rooting for Embiid though. I hope Fultz becomes great. I really do.

You're not on tatum bandwagon, but are you now OFF the Lonzo Ball bandwagon after proclaiming that he is a special player? Or do you still believe and fully convinced he will be a superstar in the NBA?

We can't evaluate Fultz right now, we don't have enough information especially after the shoulder debacle. If he comes back healthy with his old shooting form we will be able to better evaluate.

I think saying Tatum is playing his butt off and Lonzo is ass, currently are correct statements, and neither of those statements put down Fultz.

Tatum has the luxury of being a number 3 pick and going to a good team, how he would look in Sacramento or the Lakers would probably be completely different.

The problem for Ball in LA is he’s a PG that can’t shoot playing on a team that can’t shoot. Unless he was Westbrook athletically, or had Curry’s shot, Ball was always going to look bad on that team.

Plus his shot, it’s worse than Tebow’s throws but probably goes in on a court with 30 mph winds, I don’t care if he’s left eye dominant either, he’s gonna be the first basketball player to have Tommy John surgery.

But what about your evaluations going forward? Do you still believe he will be a superstar and special player as you proclaimed before the season? Or are you abandoning that ship already?

I still,think he’s the best player. I need a larger sample size.

Jackson was the guy I didn't want when we were at 3, short armed, older, non-shooting defensive specialist never impressed me, Tatum looked like a far safer pick and better fit. Fox' two big worries were his shooting and how his frame holds up defensively and over an NBA season. DSJ is who we all thought he would be so far, a very impressive rookie due to his athletic sills and playing time fit with the Mavs, the question with him is whether he is the next Stevie Francis or if his judgment will improve over time to be more like a middle class man's Westbrook, plus there were injury history concerns. Isaac is a year away from being a year away and Fultz has been hurt by being hurt. Tatum has been better than I expected and I liked him, while Ball looked like he would have trouble getting his shot off and does. Markinen has looked really good too, on a very bad team.

And the ROY is Ben freaking Simmons...October edition at least, let's see what the rest of the season says.

Lonzo Ball has not shot the ball above 40% except for that one game against PHO (44.4 FG%). Talk about efficiency.

And yet the Lavar and Magic/Lakers hype machine has ESPN's NBA page filled with Lonzo and the Lakers, while basically ignoring Ben and the Sixers. In their current game recap they seem quite proud that Rubio only got 21/4/7 against him, when everyone knows that Rubio is (very, very occasionally) capable of grabbing a triple double, lol.
