That why JJ needs to start and Warren needs to come in with the bench group.

I agree the bench unit could definitely use Warren's scoring. I just wish Jackson had done something to prove he had earned a starting role. Though I do feel he might play better if playing with the starters whereas I think TJ will play equally well regardless of who else is out there within reason. Of course as I typed that JJ hit a 3.

His defense, basketball IQ, court awareness, and intangibles have earned him the starting role. To me, Warren is a scorer, thats about it. JJ does everything (Except scoring at Warrens level). He also doesnt have an issue shooting a open 3 point shot.

That's the thing. I expect(ed) JJ to do everything but in his first couple of games he had like 1 rebound. Lately he has done better there but I expected more assists, maybe some blocks, etc. But yeah, the intangibles are good at least he is shooting ok from 3 even though he is barely over 40% shooting overall and 50% from the line. But TJ had pretty much doubled him in rebounds and assists coming into this game. I expected JJ to definitely have more assists and maybe at least equal rebounds.

But I imagine he will continue to improve in those areas.

The main reason to start him next to Booker is for his defensive intensity and to put TJ's scoring on the bench unit.

I think Bender is playing very well but i wonder if Chriss' ankle is bothering him.

Have to think that ankle is pretty sore. Still rather see Bender out there in situations like this to go through his growing pains.

Tons of good rookies this year..and Simmons might be having one of the best rookie seasons ever averaging like 16/10/7

Whoever our ball handler is needs to get into the paint and make the defense make choices.
