[quote="ISayshowmee"]Seems like after yesterday's benching......the team is more focused on defense. Need to do another benching, this time due to awful offense.[/quote/
That's for sure, the bench must be lonely.

When you put on that jersey, the name on the front is more important then the name on the back.

Larry is a not a starter much like Randle is better suited off the bench for hustle/energy
please start Kuzma soon to work with lonzo

That white guy is one of the craftiest non-athletes in the NBA against 2 younger, athletic guys....

It's like Lonzo is literally scared to finish at the rim...

All we needed was someone - anyone to get hot and yet no one could ;( - we need shooters and a star player

Yo man... I love Nance. I'm a big Larry fan. I think he can be a great role player/x factor on a very good team, but he's NOT a starter.
Feels like Luke was a similar type player (good at many things, not great at any one thing), could be he's trying to live vicariously through Larry. It's not helping this team though. Kuzma needs to start.

I think everyone will agree with me when I say this platoon subbing does more harm than good for these young players. Basketball players need rhythm and reps to get their games together.

Always tough to win in Utah.....also Jazz is still a very good team even after losing Hayward. So I do not count this game as 'winnable'.
winnable. jazz turned it over 21 times! we shot 22% from deep 70% fts was down by 6 on the road vs playoff and very a good defensive team.

he first step them off the dribble is not really "crafty" they are about the same height and more athletic and cant even stay in front of him

his lack of offensive game and using him in the pick n roll is useless with zo. not sure why they throw him the ball in the post. hes only good for his hustle and D right now. im ok with him starting or off the bench just dont run the offense thru him.

That's kind of the point though... he played 32 mins tonight. I agree with you that he's a D and hustle guy right now, but if you're not gonna throw the ball into him his position just becomes kind of a dead spot for 32 mins a game.
If he was playing 14-16 mins a game he could get away with it, but as a starter?... Nah. There are better options on this team.

thats the thing we only complain when the player is sucking and were losing. he had a career game and did well in the games we won or a close game (starting) and no complaints...just like kcp.

He did play great that game... I agree. That doesn't mean he's a starter. Larry's gonna have good games... he's NOT a bad player. He's also not a starter though.
