Americans don't travel enough. When you go to Europe and see how people live there, it's an eye opener. Most Europeans don't worry about health risks, huge tuition payments, crippling student loan debt and some idiot with an AR-15. The majority of Europeans go to work and come home at a reasonable hour to be with their families. They don't live at their jobs the way many Americans do.
Obviously we do not have slavery but the quality of life in the U.S. leaves much to be desired. Anyone with a corporate job knows this very well, as employers monitor every keystroke and try to squeeze workers for every last ounce of productivity while their wage gains are eaten up by escalating health care and other costs. And everything president Bozo and the other clowns in the legislature are doing will make it much, much worse for average Americans, while benefiting the owners at the top. They are eroding our privacy, our clean air and water, our health care and our access to the legal system.

I'm not sure what's more disturbing, the allegations of groping or that he's done so much groping that he came up with a catch phrase for when he's groping.
At this point, I just assume every 70+ old man I see on the street is a serial sexual assaulter.

If you are management, you get nada for hours over 40. I'm not sure how it works in Italy.

I had a training partner from England. I'd ask him if he was planning on moving back. He said "Why? The U.S. has everything we do and it's cheaper". I have heard that from a lot of Europeans.

Sure, from the ones who elect to stay. Self-selected sample. There are millions of Americans living in Europe. We should poll them too.

Well, everybody gets wage in Italy until you are in the elite management of the Company (usually very very big company) and you get a salary, but if you get a salary that means you earn 10 to 10000 times more money than a wage worker and you may work one day for 14 hours and 1 hour the other day, you really don't make so much "work" you a really something like a professionist that basically decides marketing strategies and have commercial or organizational issue to work with so is very hard to define all that in a specific timetable, you do your job on a projectual basis. Vacation are granted anyway.

That's not really the truth, just a point of view, US haven't everything we do, we don't have everything US do. The thing that is true, and is somewhat underlining the imperialistic behaviour of US, that a lot of things are cheaper in USA and I'm not talking about food (i won't touch USA food with a pole sincerely due to less restrictive policy you have on it) or Oil(that you produce and have sort of a monopoly on), I'm talking about essentially good produced mostly in asia that megacorporations sell for cheap in the us and sell inexplicably high in europe like Nike.(and i'm factoring high taxes in it)
These are the stats for exampe: https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/country_result.jsp?country=Italy
The real difference is on the education and the healthcare I spend roughly 0 euros to make everything related to my health, my mom had brest cancer 4 years ago, she had analysis, chemio therapy, cancer removal, post cancer theraphy, breast recostruction and post-operation theraphy(featuring injections that cost 1500 euro each paid 5 euros with the National Healthcare service). Also I have been not working for 5 month to help her in the process and got paid anyway. That's invaluable and also the reason why many Italian elders who lived in other countries retun in Italy at some point in time.
Now, US gives you alot more oppotunity and possibilities but haven't everything we do. In the case of Great Britain(and a lot of other european countries) I would say you are fairly more similar to them so he may miss a lot less from their native country.expecially if they are young and fit.

I was a little disappointed that there were no supplemental state law claims-- at least not yet. If Manafort is convicted under state law, Trump has no power to pardon.

I think I read somewhere that Trump can be made into an "unindicted co-conspirator" which would block him from pardoning regardless.

Yes, but I believe there has to be at a minimum an ability to indict, i.e. evidence of conspiracy that would pass muster with a grand jury. The legal system does not allow prosecutors to bring criminal charges without giving individuals the opportunity to defend themselves in court unless there is a very strong public interest. Nixon was named an unindicted co conspirator, but there was more than enough evidence to put him in jail-- and that's why Ford had to pardon him.

Democrats will never let african americans get ahead. A welfare system that promotes single motherhood. It's a surefire way to lock any group into despair. Black Democratic cities mired in poverty for generations now.. Black democratic mayors, judges, cops etc - and still nothing. They don't want any progress. What does a rich black man do? They vote Republican. Anyone who makes good money who has good sense would vote Republican. The underclass are simply a tool - a voting block for the progressive revolution - aka Marxism.
Don't be fooled - powerful democrats don't give a **** about African Americans - even if they are African Americans. All the indicators of success - home ownership, debt ratio etc slipped under Obama. You think he cares when can get paid to deliver speeches to Wall Street? Hell no. Hillary Clinton wanted to bring black men to heel.
It's like LGBT handy way to claim the moral high ground but now they want to bring in millions of Muslims who would literally throw them off rooftops. Democrats have figured out there is an a ton more Muslims then gays..

That's one of the silliest and most delusional post ever on RealGM. I guess the 85-90% of POC's who vote Democratic are idiots. Is that what you are saying?

Wow thoughtful comeback..
There are two groups in America - one group that has money - or thinks they will have money. They vote republican. You can look at the demographics - anyone making over 75k or has family money (aka farmers). Why? they want to keep their money they have earned..
And there is another group - guys who don't have any assests - and make **** money. These guys have nothing and hope that they can snag some of the money from the group that pays all the taxes and makes all the money. So what happens to blacks as they move from group 1 to group 2? You think they vote Democrat? Or are they more likely to vote Republican?
So what do you do if you are a politician that gains all your support from disadvantaged? Do you 'help' them? Did Obama 'help' the economy? Did he "help' black people? Has Detroit been helped, Memphis, Baltimore, Cleveland, Chicago? Once your city state goes Democrat - watch out.
So what the democrats do - and this is smart is they try to encourage the support of mexican and muslim immigrants. Blacks might vote mostly Democrat - as long as they are poor. But once they start making money - you can't count on those votes. So you move onto new voting blocks..
And BTW Europe sucks bro. I have lived there. Apartments are expensive, cars are expensive, electronics are crazy expensive - there is a reason the US is a popular destination for legal immigrants. Its called economic freedom. Other good countries to move to include New Zealand and Hong Kong if you can swing either of those..
The greater your countries economic freedom - the better it is. The US has slipped in that regard - and we are trying to fix that. We used to be top 10 now we are like #17. Shame. Regulation is mostly to blame - also excessive medical costs.

I know plenty of people making over 75k who vote Democrat.
Also, apartments, cars, electronics..these are all material things. I would take cheaper and more regulated healthcare, cheaper schooling, and 10x better public transport over those three things every day, all day. People in America have their priorities out of wack for what is truly important and necessary for every day living.
Has Detroit been helped, Memphis, Baltimore, Cleveland, Chicago? Once your city state goes Democrat - watch out.
Pretty much every city is democrat, and the economy and health of this country comes from the cities. A few cities not doing well doesn't prove anything. If you are going to use that as an example, are you going to equate how poorly the south is doing with the fact that they are all pretty much heavily republican down there? Or is that somehow the democrats fault too?
