Wow.

Although so many things wouldv'e changed. Probably no David West coming here. And several top-5 picks along the way.

Crazy though.

Just to be clear, it was "the draft pick that would have turned to PG" rather than PG outright. Granted, teams probably have a good idea of who was available by then.

To play along with the what-if scenario further, what if Pacers did that deal in 2010, then in 2011 they kept Kawhi at #15 instead of trading him for George Hill since we already had Flynn and there would now be a vacancy at SF? Crazy stuff indeed.

If Larry was successful completing this trade, and Granger fell apart on us in the same time frame we wouldve stayed a bad team even longer. Wow.

So we would have had a young PG?

Which means, we wouldn't have traded Kawhi for Hill?

...and Kawhi seems more loyal than PG...

DAMMIT! Why did this trade not work out!?!?

Just think of all the high draft picks we missed out on! Anthony Bennett, Derrick Williams, Thomas Robinson and Dante Exum could have all been Pacers.

Or we could have just drafted Jeff Teague in 2009 instead of Tyler Hansbrough and then not needed to make the deal to get Hill.

And Jordan Hill could have bee....oh, wait. Seriously though, this is actually my main reason for being against tanking.
