I think part of the reason might have been underrated, or to some underperforming was he was not in the right situation. In Orlando, he was asked to handle PG duties early on, and when he was shifted to the two his backcourt running mate was 0 threat outside of 7-feet from the field. VO hadn't really developed his three-point to where it is today, so there was a little bit of redundancy between he and Payton, teams could sag off and take away driving lanes too.

In OKC he was asked to defer to RW all the time, so it was probably hard to find your rhythm. As someone said, he's a very similar player to DWade, he's capable of playing without the ball but also benefits from having the ball in his hands and making plays. Better yet, Collison is a threat from deep so no sagging off him. Lanes are open for business.

Also, consistency was another big issue. He might drop 15 in the first half and disappear in the second half. So far, that's not been the case too much.

Collison has been playing well enough to bring back next season in my opinion, especially for the money he is getting. My biggest wish is still a guy who can hit 3s at a good clip and defend Kawhi, Lebron, Butler, Harden, etc.

We do have the injured Sumner. the draft may also give us a shot at Sexton.

I liked Collison's postgame comment that we're going to win by committee ... although another way to say that, which I prefer, is as a team.

Just checked statistics. It's kinda staggering. Our starters ramped up to +/- +88pts (average 17.6), where bench players lost to -73.6 (average -14.6), with CoJo having -22pts efficiency alone. Coach will have to think a lot of what to do with bench players.

I feel sorry for CoJo since I was expecting him to have breakout year but so far he is all but disappointing. He is more like a chaos maker and doesn't fit to McMillan's system at all.

That 3D guy can be Covington, and he will be available, Phila can't afford him, they will have to pay Šarić, Simmons, they spent tone of Money on Embiid... but still I dont belive Collison is player who will lead us in PO... we need better player... someone who can fight against Irving, Wall, Lowry, Kemba and Brogdon.... I dont think Collison is that guy... we can try to bring Thomas... especially if LBJ leave Cleveland...

My eyes are on Thomas too. Though I am not sure if I would like to pay him max. Anyway Pacers definitely needs top PG/SG. As for Collinson, maybe I am bias since I heard he makes a great duo with Sabonis but I like him.

I vote that this becomes his ritual celebration after every win.

I vote I get to name the next one now to run naked when Sabonis is perfect again.

I vote boomershadow and you have to call a number :P

That's a losing proposition, IMO. The only way we'd know you did it was if you provided a video/pictures, but I have no desire to look at those. :-?

And I have no desire to say wether I did it or not, nor would I be interested to know if someone would really do it.

But doing it between 3 and 4 am, it's no biggie for me. That's all I give away. 8-)

Ok, so perfect game from Sabonis with either 7/7 or 9/9 again(perfect games he had before).

Difficulty level might be rising every week

Just so you know, when he played in college and was used as a center he had a lot of these "perfect" games. So it's not an anomaly :D Just warning you, because you're playing with fire here

suspect it is a misleading statistic where he takes the fall for Lance and Big Al not playing well. Let's see what happens when Turner starts and Damos backs him up.

This.

He's getting no help right now. Even Leaf has only scored like 3 points over the last two games.

I quoted your post in this thread, because I saw your post on PD and wanted to point this out:

So, at the beginning of the game run an easy play for Domas, he goes 1/1 and put his a$$ on the bench. Sabonis perfect - perfect formula for W ;)
