Who is our ELEVENTH best player?

Post#1 » by ByeByeDre » Mon Oct 30, 2017 10:55 pm

Tobias is our #1
Drummond is our #2
Bradley is our #3
Reggie is our #4
Ish is our #5
Stanley is our #6
Henry is our #7
Galloway is our #8
Tolliver is our #9
Kennard is our #10

It's GO TIME! I'll go 24 hours, first to five, win by two, something like that. Let's see what you think. None of this "When it comes to back hair this guy is better, sharp elbows this guy, I can't decide" nonsense. Don't overthink - this is very simple.

Who is our eleventh best player?

Prediction: This one is as hard as #7/8

Pretty easily Jon but he might not win just because he is paid like a 6th guy off the bench not someone who is a borderline rotation player that should be on a much cheaper contract.

I'm going with Leuer as of now but it could easily be Bullock after a few games. They are probably equivalent, it's just a wing vs a big.

Tolly is streaky and Ellenson played so little last year that he'll gas some time this year. Jon will play a meaningful role for us this season.

Tollivers energy, hustle, leadership and defense aren't streaky.

What does Leuer do consistently?

His confidence shooting the ball is shot and I've never seen a player regress on three point shooting to this degree.

We let him walk last off season because he was nothing special. He's been solid for us now, but he's also playing on a one-year vets minumum for a reason. He a great lockerroom guy, and has his moments on the court, but I don't think he's a rotation guy in the long term.

Jon only isn't considered streaky because he's never been on a streak.

I think he was let go because the Kings gave him a sizable contract.

SVG & Bowers thought Leuer could at least maintain his 3 point stroke with a larger and more consistent role but this has proven false. The story after the Cleavland playoff series was to find a big to cover Love since he abused Tobias and co but at this point I have more confidence in Tolly frustrating PFs like Blake Griffin & Porzingis than Leuer.
