Is Okafor that bad on defense?!? I just can't understand it....His offense doesn't out weigh his defensive deficiencies?

With Josh Jackson's ability to handle the ball... and Booker being developed into something like a Hayward/Harden type...

Suns will not be interested in Schroeder... who is a ball dominant PG.

Need someone who can specialize in shooting and defense is ideal... hence Brogdon is a target.

I also don't mind Exum, 6'6 PG who can cover and defend, he can be a cheap signee once his shoulders heal.... potential is still there as a defender who can pass and hopefully play upto 3 positions.

Or a shooter... but sharp shooting PGs are high in demand...

He's a good shot blocker... 1.5 BPG as a rookie..

he can be a rim protector but need a GREAT rebounding PF next to him or SF.... Suns dont have that at the moment.

I think Schroeder is overrated and I hate his stupid hair cut.

I want a PG with a good attitude, high BBIQ that can knock down 3's, pass well, and play good defense. Extra points if they have any penetration skills at all.

We don't need a superstar. We need someone who doesn't mind Booker leading the team in scoring OR coming off screens and getting open looks from Jackson/Bender (who may end up directing our offense).

Booker and Jackson are also already alpha. We need don't need another one.

And yes, Brogdon would be perfect. :D

if not Brogdon...

- Exum
- Beverly (a bit older than the timeline though)
- Avery Bradley would be PERFECT, but Pistons want him

Eh... just hit me..

What about Bledsoe for Avery Bradley straight deal.....

He is due for a new deal but I like Bradley and I'd look into it.

You say we dont need a Superstar, yet name all of the qualities that make a PG a superstar.

Mike Schmitz from espn insider (formerly the draftexpress guy) had an article today of the top 10 pg prospects in college and he wasn't in the top 10.

Suns / Pistons

Bledsoe, Chandler, Chriss
for
Bradley, Drummond

I like Chriss, but to get someone like Bradley who's perfect next to Booker/Jackson... as well as Drummond, have to give them incentive to say yes.

If Bucks won't part with Brogdon or Jabari there's no reason to continue negotiating with them. Bledsoe is a 21/6 per game guy. If they're not willing to part with one of those, a 24 year old sophomore or a guy with 2 ACL surgeries, for someone who will get them 21/6 they are not serious negotiators nor will they ever improve their team because those are the only two assets they have that any team would be remotely interested in.

HEAVY feet. Always look lost in defense.
He's basically Kanter w/o a mustache.

I really like him. Seems to definitely fit that mold.

Quade is most definitely the closest thing to something called pure point guard - fundamentally sound, composed, high BB IQ pass first PG, vocal leader with competitive nature. Certainly not even close to Duval and Sexton when it comes to athleticism and explosiveness, but superior court vision and shooting consistency. Maybe not a showman and entertainer like Coleman (tho he can get pretty flashy too ) but kid for sure knows how to play the game of basketball. It looks to me we have a consensus what kind of a player we want beside Booker to run the show - everybody loves Raymond Brogdon

DX and Schmitz also had Knox mid-first round for quite awhile, then he just vanished. So... DX fell off some time ago. That’s a (sad) fact. Can you give me the names of that 10 (i assume Duval, Sexton, Hands and Coleman are there)?

Ah... Lazy writeup, as expected. Two obvious (most talked about and hyped) freshmen at the top and a bunch of experienced, ’vet’ names, some of whom raise the eyebrow.
