Wouldn’t mind trading Boban for Okafor and see what happens.

Why does Philly do that though. He can't play in the league and has another year left on his contract. We'd need to add too much sweetener. But I'd definitely take a flyer on Jah - we need a back-up Ce who can fill the 15 mpg a night spot. They'd be better off just cutting him rather than trading him for Boban.

Is Russell Westbrook that damn good?

Didn't even realise he's almost averaged a triple double thus far...

And this is after adding Paul George AND Melo!

BTW, if George and Reggie are so tight I wonder what Reggie thinks of his BFF playing with his nemesis...

Don't know where to post this, so I will do it here. I see Detroit fans showing up on other boards with Drummond trade proposals. My simple question is why? Why are Detroit fans "shopping" Drummond? He seems to be playing well.

Cause he was god awful last season sucking major balls on defense and playing with no effort all while just signing a 125 million dollar deal.

I'll be interested to see Golden State vs. the Clippers tonight. Both coming off losses to the Pistons and the Warriors on the 2nd of a B2B.

Who do you guys like? Warriors are favored by 5.

Warriors. They shouldn’t play as lackadaisical.

No effort is a stretch.

Anyone shopping Dre is hoping to sell high cause they're worried he'll go back to "normal"...

What if this is the new normal?

Yeah.

Where you guys see lack of effort I see a loser's mentality, a selfish attitude and a fear of the unknown.

Feel "losers mentality" and lack of effort pretty much mean the same but whatever...

To me:

Lack of effort = not trying hard enough

Define "hard enough"? To me it's a catch all for people who are frustrated when Dre doesn't live up to their expectations

What's your expectation of him?

To me "Loser's Mentality" = whining, pouting, not getting back on D, settling for 15 foot hook shots etc

Specific things that he can control that are easily identified

Maybe to some of you it's the exact same thing - to me one is very specific and the other is a phrase thrown at him born more out of a fan's frustration

C'mon man your making something out of nothing, not getting back on defense and lack of effort is the same thing, settling for anything basically means your not trying hard enough.

IDK how you say he gave effort but then go and say he settles and doesn't get back on defense.

Ummm did you read what you quoted?

You said he lacks effort - explain how that's possible? Define it.

You say he lacks effort when he doesn't get back on D.

I say the reason he doesnt get back on D is because he has a Loser's mentality

I'll explain my side - you explain yours...

Mine = he doesnt get back on D because:

he's too busy pouting about the foul the refs didn't call

he's too busy waving his arms around because he wanted the ball and didn't get it

he's too busy jawing at the ref

he's too busy jawing at another player

he's too busy looking exasperated at the coaching staff on the sideline

ALL those things stem from his mentality! Not because he lacks "effort" - he's doing all those things because he cares too much about the wrong thing.

It's got nothing to do with effort!

People who look at him not getting back on D and say it's a lack of effort arent looking deep enough, aren't looking for the reason WHY.

If you don't know the WHY then you can't change it.

So frustrating. Looked like a good day for us to get another game ahead of several playoff contenders in the East but of course they all win except for the Heat. Raptors blowing out the Blazers too...

Good grief. Anyone else watching these two dumpster fire teams playing? Kings and Pacers? Blarg.

My god. There are a lot of pretty good teams in the NBA but some of them are just BAD.

Pacers are oladipo and Joseph, and the Kings? Some dudes that came in for a pickup game and the front office kidnapped them to do their bidding.

Sheesh.
