When we get Doncic and end up with a weird lineup of Booker, Doncic, Jackson or Warren, Bender, Chriss, it will be hella fun but super confusing.

There is a reason the Hawks are considering moving Schroeder. I like his talent but would wait on that type of deal unless it was for Bled and the other offers just weren't there (meaning no Frank, no Nets pick, no Knicks pick, no Murray). I take Schroeder over Brogdon for obvious talent and health reasons. I take any of those others over Schroeder, who is already highly paid and has caused locker room problems in Atlanta despite them making him the guy. That is a big red flag to me. It also isn't great when somebody says they want to lead, gets paid, and then commits battery.

I do like the potential of a Schroeder, Booker, Jackson, Bender, Chriss lineup.

Yeah even if we somehow get #1 I think Doncic may be the pick. He has seemed to separate himself but that could change with CBB heating up. Either way it's BPA and figure out the rest later.

Doncic can sure score. He is not fast, he is not a big leaper. He is athletic enough to make his skills lethal. What kind of defender is he?

He is 6-6. Can he play pg?

Wonder if we'd do a 3 way for Schroder (not my first choice just thinking)

Phoenix get Schroder
Denver get Bledsoe
Atlanta get 2 firsts, 2 seconds

I still like Portis. Feel free to throw shade.
We need more “Shazam!” and less“Heartbreak Hotel”.

Imagine if we kept the Laker pick AND we got a pick for Bledsoe

Suns pick (1-5)
Laker pick (1/5)
Miami pick (8-14)
Bledsoe pick (10-16)

:o

We could have taken two top prospects at least. Maybe 3. :o

Do you think the Bulls would do Bledsoe for Portis, and either Dunn or Lavine, and a future pick?

They are in full rebuild mode. Not sure moving picks and young talent for a 28 year old in his prime is what they are looking to do.

The hype in Atlanta for Shroder is huge. I think they value him as highly as we do Jackson.

He isn't gonna be a good defender at the NBA, which means he's gonna be high on the Suns wishlist :D

Schroder is a Brandon Knight clone. It might not be that obvious because of the coaching and system in Atlanta but dude is a big time chucker.

I doubt it. Bulls are a horrible horrible team that is just starting a rebuild after losing their all-star. Bledsoe doesnt do much for them at all. He isnt a "missing piece". I think they would rather stick with their young guys (Dunn & Lavine), rather than trade them out for a older more established PG with injury concerns.

Are there any backup PGs in the NBA who are like ready to break out if given a starting role?

Only one I can think of is maybe Tyus Jones and even that's iffy.

I like Chriss, but to get someone like Bradley who's perfect next to Booker/Jackson... as well as Drummond, have to give them incentive to say yes.

I like this, but Bradley being an expiring makes me wonder on value.

Van Gundy will probably like Bledsoe as he can take over Reggie Jackson's role... they may run the dual combo guard or trade Jackson for cheap when they Bledsoe.

But Bradley is a good player and his value is high

The Suns defense is chaotic.

Troy Daniels is still adapting... he came from the Grizzlies... who are top 3 defensive teams in the NBA... through a highly discipline and systematic defense structure...... Suns NEED to establish a defensive structure that uses TEAM defense and NOT individuals... SUNS will never win a ring until they play defense well as a team.

Daniels career offensive/defensive ratings are 104/111 ... not what I would consider very good. Watching him play with the second unit it usually his guy that gets the open shots. BTW ... Daniels had the worst defensive rating on the Grizz last year. He was the worst defender on a decent defensive team.

Right now Coach T is trying to get players to man-up and commit to good individual defense. That is where everything starts. Playing hard individual defense means less need to rotate to help and fewer wide open shots and threes. Already seeing an improvement in defensive three point shooting 38/75 (.51 shooting under Watson) and 26/73 (.36 under Coach T). Daniels doesn't look like he is capable of manning up on defense.

Thats the thing...

A good discipline defensive structure helps boost an individual's abilities. Suns currently is a matador defense, they really need a reputable defensive coach to instill a scheme that works. Championship teams have one thing in common... VERY GOOD defense.

I think we could use a little of this.

Spoiler:

And maybe a little of that too.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.
