Where is all this attitude issue talk coming from? The punching a fan incident from when he was a 19 year old rookie?  What issues have come up in the last year with him that would concern you about his attitude, or even work ethic? He worked hard to change his body over the summer, went vegan and slimmed down like crazy. 
I'm guessing all these negative views about Jahlil is kinda like DLo, where it had to do with perception from incidents when they were rookies. Embiid just had a interview on NBATV today where he talks about Jahlil, and how professional he's been about the whole thing and how Jah's been one of the best teammates he's ever had. 
When asked about the situation this was Okafor's response. Great reply:
As far as on the court, the dude can hoop. Sure he has his weaknesses, but the things he does well, he really does excel in. & right now imo, the Nets just need talent to put on the floor & this guys got it. Furthermore, I think he can fit the system. He already got a solid midrange game, I see no reason as to why he wouldn't be able to develop a even lil 3 ball like Lopez did. Video:
