Re: Devin Booker
His work ethic and dedication is amazing. I have zero doubt about his improvement and future.

That's why all these people quoting analytics can shove it. That's not how people or sports work, heart, character, and work ethic are not something you can put into a formula and use as a representation of how good someone is or is going to be.

Re: Devin Booker
I can definitely see Booker being that Harden/Kobe type PG-SG mold.
Which is why we have to insist on Brogdon if there's a trade with the Bucks. Need a defensive PG/SG who can hit 3s - would actually love Beverley there too.
Bledsoe for Beverley and Lou Will, who says no? I'd include Derrick Jones as well if they want wing depth.
And stay the F away from Mudiay!!

Much truth in this post
Brogdon is basically Beverly defensively but can also do all other things that guards should be able to like shoot and pass.

I might do this. But we need youth.

We still need youth after having the youngest lineup in history?

SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Re: Devin Booker
While being double teamed almost constantly. Add to that solid defense. Booker does not have to be a top defender, just a plus defender and he is on superstar level.

Re: Devin Booker
It's crazy how much defensive attention Booker already draws as a 21 year old in a league full of grown ass men. Just shows the calibre of player he is and the respect teams show him when he has the ball in his hands.

Re: Devin Booker
Will be the next Phoenix Suns All-Star in the next couple of years, even with the Watson games included this season:
22-6-4 on 47/41/85 shooting.
If he can expand his passing when tightly gaurded that will help his assists and 2PT% and he could become similar to:
25-5-5 on 50/40/90 shooting at his peak and genuine MVP candidate.

Re: Devin Booker
The only thing I can think of as to why we sometimes prefer him dribbling to create his own shot is that it usually means a tight defender is more likely to give up free throws (which offsets lesser FG%).
After 9 games: 23-5-4 on 49/40/90
Only 2 players in the history of the NBA have achieved 25-5-5 on 50/40/90.
