Sixers size prevailed this game. Hawks as usual does a good job in defending and attacking close outs. Sixers got too complacent, it was never meant to be close
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

The Hawks inability to score to start the 4th quarter was their doom. So many open looks that missed. 0-10 in the first 5 minutes - 4 of those were wide open looks by Bazemore and Babbit.

I watched the game along with the World Series.
It appears that we're having to work too hard on offense even to score easy points.
It's rather clear that it's going to be a year not to remember and I just hope the draft treats us well.

Yep. They did it again. Opened the 4th quarter in full sleepwalk mode. Couldn't find their own backside with
a map and a flashlight. Ugh! Missed wide shots. Layups didn't fall. All game, they left point after point at the
free throw line.

Sixers are now a good team. But, Atlanta beat themselves. Veterans, for the most part, let us down.

The Beard is next.

Nah, our standard sleepwalk session prevailed in this game. Our biggest weakness defensively is attacking close outs. The fact that we did well vs PHI is a coaching failing by Brown.

ATL Boy wrote:Absolute collapse in the 4th quarter, starting off 1-14 from the field to bury ourselves. John Collins with 6 fouls, he's got to cut down on the fouls.

Kent Bazemore continues to be an albatross. He was in the thick of things in that 4th quarter drought, missing 3s and driving in for a terrible layup attempt.

I think he will get it together with the fouls, I have no problem with him fouling like a madman for the first half of this year if it will teach him early what he can and can't get away with in the NBA.

I'm 4 games behind due to a work trip. I'm back and about to start watching them all. Despite knowing the outcome, I NEED MY HAWKS ACTION!!!

Well the Bulls game was kinda weak...lol...nice black by Collins on Marrk and some nice nimble moves from further out that expected from Collins...he's got his right wing 15 foot jumper down..that's his fav spot on the floor it seems. Belinelli will shoot from anywhere...(not new)...tough loss but we still fought. I think Moose single handledly lost this one for us with a couple bad plays down the stretch.

Ps I wouldn't want Lopez guarding me..he's like a big ole cave man.

Not everyone has a 6'10" PG and most teams, including Atlanta, don't know what to do about this!
One assist short of a triple double.

Over and over, our Hawks come up "just short." Some day soon the shots will fall!

Simmons is impressive and make you wonder just how far off the Hawks really are. We don't have a talent anywhere near that. I thought the Hawks did a good job on Embiid. He's great for sure but he was far from unstoppable as he's advertised. In fact he had very few contested baskets.
