Personally I think he comes off the bench most of the year due to the fact that that is what the team needs. TJ can score and bring that to the second unit would make the team better. JJ brings something different to the team but at least at this point I do think he scorer that TJ is.

I don't think TJ has done anything to deserve not to start, and JJ hasn't necessarily done anything yet to prove he should start, but it does make sense for the scoring off the bench. Plus having Daniels next to TJ makes sense, since Daniels is our best 3 pt shooter. TJ probably doesn't get as much opportunity to be utilized scoring wise if he is always out there with iso men Bledsoe and Booker.

But TJ still deserves as many minutes as anyone along with Booker and probably JJ.

Deserves? He deserves to get playing time and that he will, he deserves to get paid and that he will, but coming off the bench shouldnt be views as a demotion if a player gets the playing time.
Just say no to idiots!!

Yeah, I don't really care who starts as long as the right people get the right amount of playing time. But since some make a big deal about the possibility of JJ starting over him if Chriss was still to start as well, I was just stating that I think TJ is a worthy starter and if he didn't start I don't think it should reflect poorly on him or mean that he has done anything wrong, but the fact that it could make more sense to have more defense (if JJ proves to be better which is expected) next to Booker and to have TJ's scoring punch off the bench. I think all three wings should be playing 30+ minutes regardless of who starts.

Anyone know why Warren has been pure garbage this season?

Another one of McD's Brandon Knight type contract extensions that's gonna backfire?

I don't think he's been garbage at all. This team is in disarray. He'll figure it out and quietly put up 20 point games again. If you watch him, he's definitely been putting in a lot of effort defensively, challenging shots and coming up with steals. It's positive progress on that side. The offense will come naturally at some point.

Also, it's been 4 games. Chill.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – T.J. Warren was soaking his feet in an ice bucket when he looked up and saw reporters moving toward him.

If Warren could have run away at the moment, he might have. Attention is the last thing Warren seeks. A perfect season for him would be a lot of wins and very few, if any, interviews.

But Warren was cornered – ever try to hurriedly jump out of an ice bucket with ice bags on both knees as well? – so he graciously explained his fourth-quarter scoring explosion that led the Suns to a 122-114 victory over the Brooklyn Nets Tuesday and gave Jay Triano a 3-1 record as interim coach.

OK. I was wrong. TJ should start.

Tj's ability to just focus on the rim in heavy traffic is amazing. You watch him. His eyes are on the rim, they never look away to anything else that is happening around him

If he had the ego of Westbrook he'd take 10 extra shots a game and average 25 points, 7 rebounds.

One thing he could do is occassionally drive and kick, something Booker is doing more of and I hope Triano teaches. In his highlights there is usually a free player at the 3 point line when the defense collapses on him.

McDonough's pre-season pick to explode this season and backed his prediction up by giving him $12.5m.

Looks to be a bargain if he can score 18 a night efficiently.

Seems to be getting more opportunities with Mike James staying outside and not getting into his area as much as Bledsoe did.

I'd rather not have a Westbrook if we already have Booker but I get what you mean.

He finally learned how to speak in his 4th year. Seriously this interview is the most articulate that I've seen from TJ.
