There are some interesting matchups in this game.
Will be especially interesting to watch the guards.

Playing pretty good ball with 3 min left in the first half. Good ball movement and defense is leading to a lot of easy buckets, shooting well helps to. Hopefully the keep their foot on the gas.

Seems like Jokic is getting the ball in the key more, running a lot of offense from there. That's what we want!

Two points from the triple double and he pulls Jokic out, Malone hates Jokic, there is no doubt about it.

Man-crush comes out, it would be nice to get him that TD but isn't it more prudent to get him rest and keep him from injury ??? You come across as a Euro Jokic fan, not a Nuggets fan......team before player !!

This is they type of game we all hope to see more of, what we've expected. TOR is having a poor shooting game but definitely being dominated,

Great way to start this home stand. It's amazing how much better the offense looks when we get some decent point guard play. Millsap spending more time on the perimeter has helped a ton in terms of spacing too. It woulda been nice to see Jokic get the trip-dub, but you know he couldn't care less about that.

I'll be in attendance on Friday. First game of the year for me.

Got to bring it up again, Mudiay had another decent game. While he isn't going to bust out and replace Murray (who also had a nice game with 24pts) he is averaging 12/3/3 this season so far, still has to get his turnovers down below the 2 per game he avg but he and Murray are making a nice tandem so far !!!

Was a nice game. I think we won because of our D and the Raptors inability to create anything except contested long mid range shots. Our offense was better but there are still more isolation plays than i'd like there to be. Finally we started cutting and shooting better. Murray starting to play good. Mudiay showing signs of life. I think that Jokic and Harris should be more involved in the offense than they are and there should be more off ball plays for Harris and Murray. I liked what i saw from Beasley, i think he should get some minutes eventually. I'm glad there is improvement to our play.

I'm not watching the game but according to the box score and highlights, I can see Jokic is being his old self again doing all things efficiently, though not a good shooting night for him. And that near triple-dub, I'm sure everyone is furious with it

Murray too is performing well like how I expected he would be, he just had a rough start like last season and people writing him off. I mean, how can someone be trained like in a kungfu movie with blindfold-shooting be bad?
His defense has been great so far this season, held Wall & Kyle Lowry to bad shooting game, his body language and attitude is good, hope he gets to improve more along with mother-of-all improved player Gary Harris. (hope I'm not jinxing it)

Edit: A sentence.

Defense didn't seem really great - low scoring doesn't equate to great defense; not all the time.
There were plenty of examples of guys failing to help someone who was double teaming someone else.
Individual defense was improved; yes. Team defense was improved; somewhat. But it'll take more than one game to convince me they have improved as much as one game shows.

Offense was improved and it seemed like Jokic handled the ball more. That kind of offense takes the energy out of the other team. It was a very enjoyable game.

We've had a few people complaining the Nuggets need a PG, usually complaining about PG needing experienced. Meanwhile others were saying our young PGs needed playing time. Murray & Mudiay are starting to show serious potential; looks like playing time is helping --- oh yes, for those who say Murray isn't a PG; it's starting to look like he can be a good PG in the modern NBA.

Anybody else notice the defense being played by Murray, Mudiay, and Harris? They still have a ways to go but they have all 3 improved considerably over the last year.

Can't say they don't have a ways to go but the effort is definitely showing. Being so young, if their development continues. can't wait to see them in their prime !!I am very pleased with Mudiay' play so far, we have the makings of a dynamic backcourt...if only we can teach Barton what "defense" means.

8-) Here I was thinking our future backcourt would be Harris-Beasley & Murray-Mudiay, even one injury wouldn't hurt too much.
