HISD cancels classes for victory parade

The Houston Independent School District is canceling classes on November 3rd so that students and their families can attend the downtown victory parade.

That is awesome. I’m planning on sneaking away for a bit to watch it on TV. I think the situation calls for being allowed to miss work for a little while ;)

Pretty much everyone I've talked to has had work cancelled tomorrow, too
