SUUUUUUUURE Earl, that Tweet had nothing to do with you.

But do go on and tell us how close you were/are to Bledsoe and how you talked to him twice that day......but NOPE, that tweet wasnt about you're firing at all.

I know the juxtaposition of the two events seems suspicious, but it is not impossible. I tend to believe people are telling the truth unless there is really really good reason to believe otherwise. I think McD might have been a bit more understanding with Eric if the tweet was about his coach. McD's reaction seems consistent with a player trying to force him to do something that he believes is bad for the team.

May as well have just dealt him to the Nuggets for Mudiay and the first instead.

If you follow Bledsoe on Twitter then you know that he rarely tweets and when he does its like 90% basketball related. Add in that as a Pro-Athlete (Or anyone famous in general), you know you have to be very selective and specific with your tweets. It also doesnt look good when your buddy-buddy coach just admitted on tv that he talked to you twice that day.

Too many things for it to be a coincidence. Im sure there is also more to it that McD is letting out, but he knew dead on that it was BS and why he didnt have any issue whatsoever telling the media that Bledsoe was lying about it.

We could do something like THIS, with 1st rounders from Milwaukee and Detroit going to the Suns.

Deal Bled to Detroit for Jackson and a 1st, then Jackson to Denver for Mudiay and another 1st

I like Bradley a lot and have advocated pairing him with Booker in the past. He's going to cost you this Summer though, and you don't want Drummond's salary when it does. Drummond's deal runs through '21 at $27M a year. It's bonkers.

Its not that crazy, he's putting up all-star numbers. 12/14/3/2/1 on good percentages with a FANTASTIC defense rating of 98.

And thats not even with Detroit using him as the #1 option or running a lot of plays for him, a lot of that scoring comes from offensive rebounds (he gets around 4+ a game).

He's the 20th highest paid player, with a few guys like Otto Porter and Jrue Holiday all making more than him.

F****** give us Brogdon then instead of wasting damn time.

I hope the Suns don't do any trade with them that doesn't involve Brogdon. I'd rather trade him for 2nd rd picks and Shumpert from the Cavs than anything else from the Bucks.

I was thinking about deal with Cavs that would increase Suns chances of getting top 5 pick while not being terrible for Cleveland. So here is my idea:

Bledsoe
for
Fry, Shumpert
+
If Nets pick is 8th or lower - Suns gets Nets pick
If Nets pick is 7th or 6th - Suns gets Nets pick, Cavs gets Heat pick
If Nets pick is top 5 and higher than Suns pick - Suns gets Nets pick, Cavs gets Suns pick and Heat pick
If Nets pick is top 5 and lower than Suns pick - Suns gets Cavs pick

What do you think? Would Cavs do this? Would Suns do this? Is a deal like this even possible? Am I genius or am I crazy?

I vote genius! I love it and think it would be technically possible. There are some really complicated protections on other pick trades.

It definitely hedges the bet in the Cavs' favor but that's probably the only way they do it.
Good scenarios:
--we end up trading Bledsoe for #8.
--we end up trading Bledsoe and the MIA pick for #6 or #7.
--we end up trading Bledsoe, our own pick (7-14ish), and the MIA pick for #1!

Worse scenarios:
--we end up trading our own #6 and the MIA pick AND Bledsoe to move up one spot to #5.
--we end up trading Bledsoe for pick #28 or so, but only in the event that our own pick is top-4, so we don't mind so much.

Right?

Suns get: Det 1st, Cle 1st, Channing (Exp), Shump
Pistons get: Bledsoe
Cavs: Reggie Jackson

...Cavs get to keep Nets pick / offload Shump

I have a feeling we aren't making a deal until Mid-December. And it's the smart play, wait til more options are out on the field. Though I think for potential Bledsoe suitors they should be looking to make good offers now so their team, along with Bledsoe can build some chemistry before the playoffs. Pony up guys!

How have we treated him? Dude said he didn't want to be here. Be a little pansy and stay home! That is the right thing to do.

He is collecting his $177k a game, and he will also be traded. He is an average player acting like a superstar!

No offense, Wilber but your perception of the situation is not the same as NBA players. This situation should have been handled in the off season.

Bledsoe trying to act like a superstar when he is an average player. If I owned the team I would trade him ASAP, and hold the door for him.

He's not average. He may not be a dynamic franchise changer or even a top 10 PG, but he's a top 35 player. His numbers prove that unless you only look at the 3 games from this year.
