Excellent interview. Humble, gives credit to the pg’s. The key to a multidimensional team is having a pg who does not see himself as the star of the team. He can BE the star but he cannot see himself as one. He has to see himself as the team leader that coordinates everyone on the floor and gets the ball to the place where it will be most effective.

This is why Curry has championships but Westbrook does not and it’s why Durant is where he is.

He finally learned how to speak in his 4th year. Seriously this interview is the most articulate that I've seen from TJ.

Besides Booker and Dudley, Suns have always had players who have trouble with public speaking for the last several years now.

21 players have had 40 points, 10 rebounds since 2014.

18 are All-Stars.

I would wait until Warren proves he can consistently play well.

Serious question: can TJ wear Petr Cech-style scrum cap permanently? I'm getting worried about his head.

Cech had a fractured skull so it was to protect the bone.

Research suggests those helmets might make concussions worse by absorbing more of the impact.

Not a good sign that he looked so distress from a relatively light blow as it suggests he has high cumulative effects.

Good news for him is he's insured for $50m.

I don't know if I'd call that a "light blow." He was going full speed to the rim and that monster of a man (Kanter) basically head-butted him as he leaned into him.

Unbelievable that they didn't call a foul. Should have been reviewed imo, too.

TJ was also day-to-day in that mysterious injury.

I would have to think they're exercising extreme caution with TJ because he's TJ and he's really important to this team.

He has a history of head injuries. I think its just because of the style of game he plays. Need to proceed with caution.
