1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the 1976-77 season to the 2016-17 season will be available to be drafted. You can draft players that came into the league before 1976 but the season you choose can't be before 1976-1977.
2. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players.
3. Each season picked must be for a franchise a player already drafted to your team has played for at any point in his career (up to 2016-2017), except for Round 1 which is a free pick. Eg. If a player drafts Michael Jordan Round 1, players from Chicago and Washington are eligible in Round 2/the remainder of the draft. If he drafts Scottie Pippen in Round 2, Chicago, Washington, Houston, Portland is now his eligible group of franchises. This process of expanding your player pool with each pick is continued the rest of the draft.
4. When you draft a player who's played for multiple teams, please state the franchise you intend to use their season from on your roster page. For example if you take Lebron, you will draft it as taking Heat Lebron or Cavaliers Lebron. That franchise must have been made eligible by you already in the game. You don't have to choose which season/FGAs to take yet within that franchise, but you have to pick the franchise.
5. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected.
6. The winner of the draft will be determined by a playoff tournament.
7. You must state the specific season of the player you choose to draft. You don't have to do it right away when you make your selection but you must state it on your team roster page before the playoffs begin.
8. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 90.0 FGA corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player.
9. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBABABA
10. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you will be skipped.
11. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT. The clock begins on Sunday at 9 AM ET unless a full round has been completed.
12. Draft order will be completely randomised.
13. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.
14. You will be responsible for creating a roster page for your fantasy team. Here are the things that you will be required to include on your roster page:
