Let's make this happen already.

A pick from Denver may be the best we can do and I think there is a good chance it ends up as late lottery.

Houston and GSW are rising to the top as expected. SAS ain't far behind. LAC and PORT are playing good ball. That's 3 spots left and Memphis, Minnesota, Utah, OKC, and NOP won't lay down.

The west is tough.

I have assimilated that Malcom Brogdon is not available for Bledsoe, so I have been searching for another upcoming PG who can fit with our young core.

The Celtics have two young PGs in Rozier and Smart that are good enough to start on other teams, they are not bad options for Bledsoe if Ainge wants to deal with us BUT the best option out there IMO is Spencer Dinwiddie from the Nets.

Someone here posted the idea a few days ago and I think he is right.
Spencer is playing great basketball coming from the bench for the Nets and he looks ready to play starting minutes in the league.

He is 24 years old and under contract this season and the next one for less than $2M...an steal.
He is gonna be an UFA in 2019/20, perfect for us if we want to pay him at that moment, we will have Dudley and Chandler off the books.

He is 6'6 and he is a solid defender who shoots great from three (over 45%) and has a really good assist/OT ratio (3.92).
We need someone like him next to Booker and TJ.

We can receive as a filler Trevor Booker (around $9M) who expires this season and we can cut DJJ.

I wouldn't hate it if Suns trade Bled for Bradley or Beverley (+ something). They seems like a perfect players to pair with Book. Great defenders, good 3pt shooters, not playmakers but Booker should be capable of running the offense. The problem is that Bradley is expiring and Beverley is a bit too old.

Yeah. Bradley maybe, but I don't think he is going to be worth his salary to a team like Phoenix. He probably commands $10 mil at least, knocking us out of max space after next offseason. We need guys on rookie deals to offer a max in 2 years before Booker's extension kicks in.

I would like to get them too.
Beverley is so valuable for the Clippers, and SVG loves Bradley so...I don't think they are available for Bledsoe.

I think he is gonna get $20M per year.

It's possible, but if that's the case, why sign him? I don't think fit is the primary consideration here. Houston made that mistake in not moving on from Beverley for years due to his fit next to Harden. i would rather spend the extra dough to get a Chris Paul.

10 million atleast for Bradley?

He's going to get 80% more than that... likely 17-18 Million a year contract, he is a shut down defender for the Currys, Lillards etc. He can also cover SGs, can nail 3s and seems to be a coach's favorite type.

Because he is a great two-way basketball player and he is entering his prime.

I think you’re needlessly limiting yourself by only looking for deals that involve a PG coming back.

(Especially for a rebuilding team) there’s no reason not to simply get the most valuable (rebuild) piece available when making a trade, regardless of whether it’s a pick or certain position.

Sometimes these moves then trigger another, and most times that’s easier in the off season for contenders. But this team is going nowhere and has 2 PGs on the roster to hold the fort until the long term solution comes along, so limiting your pool of potential returns does not seem like the most beneficial approach.

You can get a lot of great 2 way players for $20 mil, and for just a bit more you could get a top 20 player in the entire league, which he is nowhere close to being.

I don't think either guys are available. Pistons love Bradley's contribution and Clips love Beverley because he's cheap and excellent at what's expect of him. Bradley will also be very expensive to retain and I think he's worth $16-20m but not on this team we need to stay financially flexible for when Booker is eligible for an extension next summer.

Chriss has shown bad body language this season so far... effort is mediocre and IQ has dropped even lower...

Agreed. Not a fan of his play. It's like he's not improved at all from last season. Defensively, I hate his stance. He doesn't move his feet, he doesn't try and divert his man into the help and he's out of position a lot when he's the help.

I like InsiderSuns. It's clear he's not a true insider and doesn't try to look like one. He sources his news and just made a mistake on this one.
Scott clearly isn't familiar with the fan twitter handles yet. I don't mind him calling out the mistake but to say he 'lifted' it is silly.

Looks like our player targets are off the table.

Cavs lost to Atlanta though, playing poker with that Brooklyn pick.

What do you mean by player targets off the table?
