If rebounding is that much more important than scoring efficiency then we’ll know what kept Vazquez and Marshall from making it.

Take away the Suns debacle where they basically threw the game to get their coach fired and inflated Lonzo's awful stats... and 9 of his 10 games look like this.

6.5 ppg, 5.8 rbg, 6.6 apg
Shooting 20.9 FG% 18.4% 3PT

Yikes. Some other interesting facts.

* Lonzo has is 3rd in most attempts from the field at the Lakers.
* Lonzo 1st in most 3 point attempts
* Lonzo is only 7th in scoring on the Lakers even though he has the most minutes played
* Lonzo is 14th in FG% at the Lakers, beating only Zubac in 15th place who has played only 2 minutes for the entire season.
* Lonzo has failed to score above 9 points in 8 of his 10 games... whilst being on court the most.

And if you want to compare it to probably one of the worst top 2 picks to ever play the game... in their first season.

Anthony Bennett 4.2 PPG, 35 FG% and 24 3PT%.

Lonzo is tracking to actually be worse than Anthony Bennett was as a scorer.

Scoring wasn’t Lonzo’s main thing that made him special. He’s also learning a new system. All his life he pushed it up the court and he excelled at UCLA doing that. The Lakers aren’t playing to his strengths and he’s still playing well.

Nothing you ever say will be taken seriously ever again. If you are this biased and will literally bold faced lie then you should be banned. Lonzo is doing everything but playing well. He has been beyond awful, worse than I even thought and I knew he would be a MCW 2.0

Anyway regarding Lauri, I like how the Bulls are using him with RoLo's rolling to the basket that acts as a gravity for a good shot for Lauri. Lauri also is lethal on pick and pop and attacking close outs or whenever defenders switched on him. That between Kuz and Lauri, I have Lauri having higher upside. Lauri has very good scoring upside given with his on vs off net ORtg, around 60TS%.and different scoring styles.

For some strange reason, I find Kuz similar to Jordan Clarkson, that they're impressive as rookies due to their age but I do think they have limited upsides that will make them likely to settle into role player roles.

Not saying they suck, but I dont buy into the Kuz hype than what LAL fans seems to have. And I do think most of the Kuz hype is to comfort them that they have a guy who is drafted with the same tier of Tatum, for now.

Kuzma: I'm impressed by the confidence level and energy he plays with. His scoring talent is pretty legitimate. Great finisher and exemplary shot maker. However, I do think he's thriving in a lack of accountability role where he can just go out there and get buckets. Much like a young Jordan Clarkson (nice reference point, by you). Once the initial shine wears off, I think people are going to be frustrated by his lack of contributions on the defensive side of the ball. He's been a pretty pitiful team defender so far. If he was on the Sixers, we'd be on him like we are on Dario and Jerryd for there poor defensive play.

Markkanen: Props to you. This was your boy during the pre-draft process. The jumpshot immediately translating doesn't surprise me. That was an A+ tool of his. I didn't think he'd be as competent on the defensive glass as he's been, though. I also expected him to be a liability on the defensive end and he's been far from it. He actually looks like he's picking up on concepts and getting himelf into opportune positions. He'll never be a shotblocker or stopper, but he looks like he can gradually develop into a solid team defender.

I highly doubt it. He's going on the trip to the west coast. Do they usually show clips of the team practicing before games when they are on the road?

I'm standing by my prediction of him coming back for the Golden State game at home (if he has reverted back to his old form successfully).

I guarantee they don't make his first game back against the warriors of all teams. Maybe that Utah game the following Monday.

Whats more likely? Lonzo fixing his shot and being a good shooter or Fultz fixing his shoulder and being an elite shoofer?

If it's a televised game and he's looking like his normal self, the national attention to the game would rise significantly. If there's one thing that our organization shamelessly does, it's make moves to increase revenue drawing attention.

A lot of them do post clips and shoot around flows from long road trips. Keith Pompey in particular regardless of how you view his writings does get a lot of good clips of them both on the road and at home.

It's not nationally televised. It's just a really tough matchup. This isn't like Embiid, they aren't going to pull this with Fultz. They're going to handle him with kid gloves until he shows he can handle more.

Yeah I'm not feeling this at all. Might as well keep him out of shooting drills. What is the point of this?

Yeah I was...this wasn't what I was asking for. Would be interested to know the success rate of said shots though.

fultz is shooting left handed though, which means he can't raise his right shooting hand over his head still. which means his shoulder isn't healed up yet?
