The other downside is that we are in absolute cap hell right now moving an expiring Moose for Bledsoe's deal and still presumably resigning Jabari so if this roster doesn't work out we're 100% ****.

I think the trade had to be done though.

I think we may end up being surprised at how far into the luxury tax world our owners are willing to go.

NBA team values are up something absurd. Oh, and we have a 22 year old dude who's an MVP candidate basically every year for the next 10 years.

Winning games will add more value to this team than any luxury tax can take away.

And don't forget - the east SUUUUUUUUUCKS.

Fans always get hyped up about the value of expirings but they are rarely worth what the fans dream they are worth. I'm sure we tried to dump some salary but that's easier said than done. Good trade. We can always re-sign Moose next summer ;)

There has to be moves made this year are we clear some cap... Henson, Delly or Telly need to go eventually.

Let’s be honest: wouldn’t be a Bucks deal if we didn’t toss in a 2nd. Hell, give them 2!!

Well I guess Telly and a 2nd was out of the question  . Still a f***** great deal.
A healthy, motivated Bledsoe has high value.

If the deal stays as it’s reported, I would love to see Middleton off the bench. Think with his ball handling, him as a 6thh man in the bench unit with Delly would immediately improve our bench to a high end unit with Brogdon and Snell shifting to SG/SF

The only way you are moving those deals is to take an equally bad contract back or attach an asset, which we don't have.

Can we start Giannis at center with Midds, Snell, Brogdon, and Bledsoe?

The Bucks will gain luxury tax flexibility this season with the Eric Bledsoe $14.5M cap hit. Milwaukee was $1M below the tax before the trade and are now $4.3M. Next year is where things get complicated for Milwaukee. The Bledsoe 2018–19 $15M salary has the Bucks with $116M in guaranteed salaries, $6M below the tax. The restricted free agency of Jabari Parker will push the Bucks into the tax. The Bucks will also gain a $3.38M trade exception.

Our bench does still suck but adding Snell to the bench helps. That should always be his role, he's not a starter.

That could happen once/if Parker gets healthy.

A disgruntled all-star caliber player who wanted to come here.

Wow.

Thanks for opting in Moose. You prevented us from signing two scrubs this past off season for 18 mil. You made this possible.
