Y'all want Kanter? I think KOQ would fit your team perfectly (finished write-up on him, just putting final touches on article) if we decide to trade him - WHICH is up in air because I've heard that we want him back, it all depends on price. Not sure how a KOQ deal would work, but I think (with the Bledsoe addition and assuming Parker comes back and is effective) the team could be more than just an ECF contending team and a legit finals contending team from the east.

KOQ would be an awesome pickup, would complete the team. I’ve only seen a couple of Knicks games this year but was super impressed during the Denver game. Maybe I caught him on a great night? But yeah no clue what his value is right now.

abound 2nd round pick:

Phoenix will get a conditional second-rounder this upcoming NBA Draft it it lands between 48-to-60, but it won’t carry over into 2019 if the Bucks keep it in 2018, per Wojnarowski.

So Bledsoe most probably for Monroe + 2020 20s pick. And that's it ?

Monroe/protected 1st are not our two best assets, Middleton/Brogdon/Thon/Parker/Bledsoe all conceivably have equal or more value

I voted Like It, almost voted Love It though. I wanted Moose gone and we didn't give up Brogdon. Good deal imo.

Yeah, KOQ is low-key one of my favorite players in the NBA. He sets great screens, rebounds, hustles and plays with energy eery time he steps onto the court, awesome defender at rim and can switch on perimeter (although he's not someone you want guarding 4s), and is a GREAT passer. 17th in the NBA also on defensive points saved. :o

As for value, no idea. Given the way he's been playing and meshing with the rest of the team this year (and last year as well), I'd suspect the Knicks would ask for a decent amount. Not sure what the Bucks would be willing to part with, though.

Even if we say all 8 teams in the west have a better record, we would have to be a 5-8 seed for that scenario. Otherwise its 2020 + 2nd rounder or if we suck this years pick alone.

I hope Brandon Knight doesn't prejudice Bledsoe against Milwaukee. At least he can give him some cultural background and tips on things like local cuisine.

My money's on Nowak. He really wants Thon gone.

Love the deal, proactive and adds another star on Middleton's tier to try and make some noise in the East. Good job Horst.

Team needs a big man though in the worst way. Wilson, Thon..go fetch us a big man. Any team that relies purely on John Henson as their big man is destined for trouble.

That's just it; because it's so protected, it's not likely to convey for years, at which point who the eff knows. Hopefully they're still good in the spring of 2020, but Khris and Bledsoe are ufa's the year before that. Giannis will only have one year left on his deal and who knows how that year will go. If Bledsoe doesn't make them much better for a couple years here, it could prove to be disastrous.

The most likely outcome is probably a non-lotto pick in 2020, but a lot could go wrong to screw it up.

Not sure how to feel about this to be honest. Hoping Bledsoes pace makes an impact in our transition game but without Monroe this could potentially make our half-court game much worse. Who are we starting at center? Henson and Thon? Woof...need to trade Delly and Thon for a real player at the 5 to make any kind of impact in the playoffs. We will get eaten alive in the paint from here on out.

the only way it doesn't convey in the next 3 years is if we totally suck bottom 5 all 3 years. give me a break. its going to convey regardless of giannis.

just the 3 of Bledsoe/brogdon/middleton in the east is better than most of the herb kohl "mediocre teams" that spent the whole year chasing the 8th seed. this sucker will convey before year 4 whether Giannis is healthy or not.
