Brandon Knight seems like the biggest loser here. We bring in no PG and are going to apparently run with Mike James and Tyler Ulis. Would have been a perfect time for Knight to rehab some value for a possible trade but he goes and gets injured in the off season. The guy must have done something terrible in another life.

I've been very vocal in my disdain for bledsoe over the past several years. I would have moved him last year in the middle of the season after he regained his trade value after an injury season.
We may be underselling how big an issue his injury history and pending contract weighed in trade talks. I certainly wouldn't want bledsoe on my team were I an opposing gm.

I do not think so.

At this point I want a pick and a decent PG.
I would be fine with Dellavedova and a couple of protected first round picks.

A couple of firsts? That's funny.

If we took back your garbage than that's what it would have taken. One first for EB and one to take back Delly.

+1000

He is over-rated on this board in a league full of good point guards. Happy we got a pick at all. A pick + expiring is even better.

NOt exactly. The Suns have downside protection on the pick as well.

What's with Bucks fans coming in here trolling? They won the deal. We all know it. Enjoy it and stop pounding your chest in an opposing board.

I've been critical of McD lately and do think its time for a GM change this coming summer but I will give him credit un that he's not afraid to make a trade for an asset he might not be around to use. A lot of gms won't.

I think the contract was the biggest problem for sure. I'm sure his attitude was discussed by both GM's too.
Maybe his knees hold up and maybe they don't, but the one thing we know for sure is he'll be demanding a contract that the Bucks may not be happy paying.
He'll probably end up with 3 years 80-90mil

This board very much overvalued Bledsoe's trade value...which is shocking considering the Suns completely botched the situation and had no leverage

I don't think that's true. Pretty much everyone here knew we were done. Now it's just dealing with the reality of the expected situation......that's always tough even when you knew it was coming.

Pretty much a meh trade but i'm still happy that we got rid of Bledsoe. I hope we give Monroe at least a try. We really need a big guy who can score.

Yeah, I think the value is good considering his injury history (especially with what the trainers said) and impending contract demands and I am not sure he is the best fit with Giannis anyway if they want to spread the floor and keep the ball in Giannis' hands as much as possible.

I'm just getting ready for our next trade where an opposing GM will ask for 2 more first round picks from us than anyone else, just becouse we have so many. Kinda like what happened to McD mentor Ainge. smh

Yeah, I've never heard a non all star player (who had never been mentioned by writers, etc, that he is potentially an all star or was a snub) be referred to as "all star caliber" as much as Bledsoe.

Considering he just got a multi year contract extension in July, I doubt he's going anywhere any time soon.

Four years of us getting worse. That's the legacy of Ryan Mcdonough right now.

Anyone with a pulse knew that Bledsoe wasn't going to fit in with this tanking team this year. That's why we sat him for the last quarter of the season. Not trading him this offseason and letting the meltdown happen is the story of this trade. It's the same story as when McDuh signed three point guards.

This guy has no idea how to run an NBA team. The only thing he's good at is trading for draft picks.

Can we please move on already.
