I feel you, but as Bucks fans we have to get over this mindset. It's been part of our problem, from ownership on down. We're not a Ma & Pa organization, we're an NBA franchise & we need to act like that.

I never had that mentality, I would say the same thing if we were Golden State. You can't keep guys who want to leave anymore because all they have to do is tweet something and they're out.

If there was ever an era where MKE could not attract good players (which I never believed was the case but anyway), that era is gone now. Who doesn't want to play with Giannis? Bledsoe does, I believe most players do. They'd be stupid not to.

As much as I would like to believe that, it's not all about winning. We've seen two of this franchise's greatest players (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Marques Johnson) demand trades during highly successful periods for the Bucks. Kareem's was only one year removed from a Finals appearance. There is a long history of athletes not wanting to play in Wisconsin.

I won’t pretend I know enough about Bledsoe and if he can run PNR, or if Kidd will have him do this. Any good highlights that someone can post?

Can’t wait to see him out there, I think people are really going to enjoy him on our team with his physical play and the ability to create shots and get to the foul line.

I've watched a ton of Bledsoe the last four years. He's got a speed/strength/athleticism this team hasn't had in a long time.

People will bitch on nights he goes 4-17 with some clanking three's. But if Bledsoe decides to D up, look out.

Would love to pry away someone like Dedmon, Willie, or even O'Quinn to pair with our current starters.

I actually love the way Henson is playing. But a series against Char (D12)/Det (Drummond)/Tor (Val)/Phi (Embiid)/Mia (Whiteside) could get messy with two undersized "centers".

Keep in mind, Henson has a history of wearing out at 25 min. If he goes down we have to put Giannis there for LOooooong minutes to take bruises. I really don't understand why they couldn't have gotten Pho to add Chandler while we add Telly. If we needed to loosen the protections so be it. But our roster is woefully out of balance now.

Giannis can play min when other 4s slide to 5. But I can't have him fighting with Kanter for 20 min a game.

Henson has been pretty good, but he's known to have spells of looking like a starter. Then he regresses back to being a lazy, third guy off the bench type of guy.

Right now we have Henson, Thon, and I guess Mirza for random spot minutes. All those guys are soft as hell, and really shouldn't be getting anymore than 20 minutes in my opinion.

Ideally, we trade and get a garbage man big, who can grab boards, be generally athletic and foul people. So yes, I agree Chandler would have awesome for the time being.

Bledsoe's hesi is one of the game's great simple moves. He's just so explosive; it's the main reason he's such a good PnR player.

Part of me feels like we traded for the PG equivalent of Monroe. Except Bledsoe gives us exactly what we need, while Monroe was a bit of a luxury player that didn't fit.

If Bledsoe can stay healthy, then he's almost an ideal fit. He's a player that can consistently get by their guy, go off on random nights, and share distributing responsibilities.

His athleticism also fits with our team, while Monroe slowed us down. I wll miss Monroe big time though. He always seemed like a class act, and when he was on his game, he was a pretty exciting player to watch.

Not buying that Kidd is going to know how to properly use anybody on this team. I fully expect Giannis iso's with Bledsoe spotting up for 5+ 3's a game.

What's dumb about Kidd is that he fears the PnR so much while on D that he runs 3 defenders at it every time. Yet doesn't think it's good enough to run on offense for his team.

I'm not sure I'd call this trade a HR, more like a ground rule double.

team is still in cap hell, don't have an average C on the roster, and I'm fully expecting PHX to swap Monroe for a bad contract and another pick and/or player.

That stuff was done 20 years ago. I mean we obviously don't know for sure, but Ortho surgeons aren't stupid. They're going to leave as much cushioning in there as they can.

Even then there are two in each knee (obv not saying this for your benefit, but to explain my annoyance). The way Deveney is talking about it it's just clear he has no idea what the structures are.

From the contemporaneous reporting, it seems like he's had repairs in both knees (R-2011, L-2015) and had a small minor meniscectomy on the right in 2014. No idea the combination of medial or lateral injuries; they never report that level of detail.

The "half a meniscus between both knees" is an absurd claim and based on a radical lack of understanding of the structures and procedures involved. Nobody takes that much and he'd be damn near ready for a full replacement if they had.

There was a Australian Rules Footballer here who retired with 'no cartilage in either knee' according to the local media. Lo and behold he appears playing amateur footy the next season. I'm sure there's many examples of this, because local country clubs play obscene amounts to guys that used to be highest level to come and dominate local sport (talking about $1000++ per game...)

This will be really interesting, as I don't believe Bledsoe will be keen running all over the court like a headless chook.

I'm sure they didnt want any of the contracts back that would have made it work salary wise to attach chandler.

I expect him or monroe to be traded over the next couple weeks.

So true. And it isn’t like Brogdon can’t do it. MCW might be a different story.

No way this could backfire

Are you being sarcastic? I could see a scenario where two years from now we lose midds and bledsoe and have a anchor of a contract jabari preventing us from being a contender. Wish it was less protected the next two years. Too much crazy stuff can happen in 3 years and it could become a Brooklyn type pick.

Yes of course. Agree 100%.

You got a collection of guys all lengthy to guard multiple positions and switch, but then don't do it and send a 3rd guy at it to crater the D. I just don't get it.

Should be interesting to see Bledsoe play in our defense. Maybe Sweeney's defense is like Dom Capers in the way that it said that it takes a while possibly years to figure it out, buteven then it still doesn't really work
