Monroe is hurt so they have a little time to figure it out. They could simply sit chandler but my guess is one of monroe or chandler is traded over the next two weeks. I'm sure they would gladly give chandler to any team willing to give them an expiring back.

I'm not a big fan of monroes game in general but I'm not totally opposed to kicking the tires on him to see if they would want to give him a contract this summer. Theoretically he's not the worst fit next to bender. But if any team is willing to trade a pick and an expiring for him I'd be all for it or they could go the other direction and package him with a pick for someone with multuple years left on their contract.

Someone mentioned he can't be traded again for 90 days. Is this correct?

I mean you also have to be happy that you now have a new starter in The Premier League by the end of a week.

I believe....
Can be traded now if not packaged with another player. 60 day wait for multi player trading.
But maybe the CBA has changed recently.

I think this is right. The 60/90 day single player I believe is related to signing a player, which is different. That way teams aren't signing FA's and then trading them to others immediately.

In addition, teams cannot trade players under the following circumstances:

For two months after receiving the player in trade, if the trade aggregates the player's salary with the salaries of other players. However, the team is free to trade the player immediately, either by himself or without aggregating his salary with other salaries. This restriction applies only to players who were acquired using an exception (and not cap room).

Nah, keep Monroe and call Magic Johnson everyday.

Perfect. Keep him for the time being and see if he fits with our players. I think Triano probably wanted a defensive big that rebounds.

Now we can move on from Len and trade Chandler (if necessary) :D

Im amazed.

You had people clamoring for Bledsoe to be traded ASAP no matter the return, and now that he has, people are upset at the return.

You also have people saying to just buy Monroe out, like WTF? Yeah, pay him $17M to go play for someone else, or....i dont know...maybe actually use that asset (Yes, it is an asset) to trade to another team looking at dumping salary and draft picks.

Was this return as good as i expected? No. Is it that bad? Eh.... not really.

The funny thing is seeing people on the trade board that have been saying for the past month that Bledsoe has no trade value and how bad he is, all of a sudden flip and now say that we are the ones that got fleeced.

If Bledsoe goes down with another knee injury this season, does it all of a sudden make it a good trade for us? If we flip Monroe for a few more pieces does it make it look like a better trade for us? If both of those scenarios happen does it make it a great trade for us?

People need to learn to not jump on things right away and wait to see how things play out before judging.

I personally feel like Bledsoe will all of a sudden start playing at a higher level now that he's with the Bucks, and i think that in doing so he will over-extend himself and get injured. For a player that uses his athleticism for 75% of his game, that bad. Just remember how many times a game you would see Bledsoe charge to the hoop and end up on his ass. ALOT! Now picture if he was actually on a team contending. Gonna happen a lot more. Thats why i think he is a ticking time bomb, and McD was Danny Glover trying to figure out what wire to cut, and thankfully the Bucks as Mel Gibson swooped in with the wirecutters and said, "Let me take care of this!".

He must feel really good about himself. Talked about as all star snub in Milwaukee. Gets traded to Phx to play aside a PG, eventually gets benched, but is a pro about it. Bledsoe gets benched, tweets he wants out, gets traded to Milwaukee.

At least he's got his $14 million a year.

Even if this was true, how dumb would you have to be to not know how it would be taken. And he had plenty of time to tweet a follow up explanation.

What a jerk.

They should have asked him "I take it you have appealed the fine for the tweet then?"

Not sure about this trade. Feel like we didn't get much value for Bledsoe.

Smh....ha ha ha...funny, but true. Wow. I'll be honest, I'm hoping he can make a comeback. I think that's our best option at PG going forward. Ha ha...oh well.

I'm not upset. I'm glad he is gone. I And 1 a few poster who were happy he is just gone. I'm upset because we are a train wreck as an organization right now, the butt of all jokes.

For the record, I was against moving Bledsoe ASAP. I wanted us to wait a bit for teams to get desperate.

Trading for him now allows us to include him in trades with other players around the deadline, correct? If we didn't trade now, we wouldn't be able to trade him with other players going out, it would only be single player (Monroe) trades, right? If this is true, I'm okay with it. I think an expiring Monroe plus other assets gets back more around the trade deadline than an injury prone, disgruntled Eric Bledsoe.

Still would have liked to have gotten Brogdon back somehow. :(

We all wanted Brogdon so bad.

Funny thing is that Brandon Knight (even post ACL) is probably a better athlete then Brogdon. He's also a lights out shooter...when he is shooting well.

I don't expect it, but, if Knight changed the way he played and somehow improved his BBIQ, he could be a good player.

I'm just not holding my breath...

McD should see if Cleveland would want chandler to help their d.

Chandler and daniels for zizik fry and shump works. Dumps a little salary off of next yrs number and gets a young prospect.
