the pacers will be playing on the second half of a back to back and third game in four nights while we're coming off a few days rest.

the pacers have surprised so far in this early season and have turner back from injury, though they could be missing sabonis and leaf which leaves them a little thin for their 4/5 rotation. on the injury front for us leuer still isn't practicing with his ankle and SJ hasn't practiced either with his hip issue.

go pistons!

Pistons need to sweep this homestand because the next month gets more difficult.

I'm sure they'll drop 1, which is realistic, but don't drop more than that.

That Stanley thing scares me. If he doesn't play, we're going to see firsthand how important he is to our defense.

Avery checking Oladipo should be fun, though.

Lets see what team shows up. 20 games is when teams really start to gel and we are at the halfway mark.

Could be a loss, could be a blowout win. Growing process continues!

Is Myles turner playing? I could see hm and Sabonis making it difficult

Turner has been back for the past few games, so im guessing he's fine. Sabonis, however, is out tonight, so he's probably ques. for tomorrow...

Gotta get this one. Potential trap game... young scrappy team that might be light on defense, but scores a ton, ugh!

Completely unrelated, it's crazy looking at the top 3 records in the East and seeing Boston, Detroit and Orlando there. It's like we're back in 2008 or something.

The last time I said we're gonna crush them backfired pretty badly. (Lakers game)

But obviously we're going to crush them.

Remember all the crap the GM was getting for trading PG13 for merely Oladipo and Sabonis...

If Stanley doesn't play - do we start Harris at the three? Probably means Tolly starts at PF? Last game when Johnson went down Stan went with Bullock and kept Harris at the four.

Harris is a better 4 then three. It will depend on matchup of course.

I wonder if Stanley will play? In hopeful as it will keep the starters consistent and that's something this team needs to keep rolling.

We have better depth at the 4... but I don't like the idea of moving Harris around. The fewer breaks to our continuity the better, and Harris had been solid up front.

This is the Pacers 6th game in 9 nights, 4 of which have been on the road, and we are coming off 3 days rest and at home.

Harris is just as good at SF as he is at PF, at least on offense. I think he is better at SF though because he is a worse defender at PF imo. I don't get how this myth started that Harris is automatically a better player at PF. It isn't true. If SJ doesn't play I fully expect Harris to start at SF and Tolliver to start at PF like SVG did in the second half of two previous games this season. Heck, I would argue that is still our best lineup.

From what I saw in Orlando, Harris is a worse defender at SF than PF. Plus, he can beat his man on offense at PF whereas he struggles mightily against good SF's.
